I suspect we will make zero trades. Stephen will come out right before camp waxing on about how impressive that Mingo and Tolbert has looked. Blah, blah, blah.

Yeah, I’m of the same mind. What they’ll likely do is go through training camp and the start of the season not addressing the glaring need. Then, after a couple games with our passing game struggling, we’ll overpay (because we have no leverage) for a #2.

I sincerely hope you're wrong, CPT. But, sadly think that is exactly how things play out.

Unless these players are willing to play for 1M, which is league min for a vet, it’s not gonna happen.

Dallas never spends the cap down to zero, and they always roll over 20M to the next cap year.

Teams are required to spend only 90 percent of the cap, per CBA.

37M (pre draft free cap, per OTC) - 20M 2026 rollover = 17M

17M - 11M (estimated cap for the draft) = 6M

Cooper was horrible last year. At 31, I'm not sure I'd expect a bounce back unless we knew it was injury related. By the end of the year Buffalo barely seemed to look his way. No interest.

Btw, watched him in camp several summers ago.

He was totally checked out, didn’t talk to any other WRs, and seemed bored.

That’s why he left. And the 60M in base that he was owed.
