Bloggingtheboys: Possibility Proof That Mike McCarthy May Be Coming Back

I always hope there's someone who reminds people the team was bad before the injuries and its no excuse, but Jerry and Stephen will lean on the injury heavy in the offseason.
It's not how you start. It's how you finish.

They just need to hit in the draft and free agency. At least they get to pick higher than usual and have more money to spend than they normally do.
if Jerry gets on board and does this with some real RBs and turns the team around, i ll get on board and a personal post stating im sold

It's killing me that people think they're playing so well the past few weeks. They're barely winning over bad to mediocre teams, and the mediocre team was due to fortunate turnovers.
But isn't The Cowboys Midiocre?

I take the Cowboys Grunt Any Day

Cowboys are below mediocre, but barely beating mediocre or below mediocre teams doesn't mean they're playing well. It just means they're playing better than garbage.

Don't get me wrong, I was getting a thrill watching them beat Tampa, and I'm proud of the effort. I'm just not particularly impressed by the results.

The future depends on the draft. Picking much higher this year helps.
Not when the same 2 morons that traded for Lance and lost out on Bucky Irving are making the picks. You just don’t get it or don’t want to. Either way. Jerry loves fans like you. You’re the reason this team will never see change.

Lol, you are the one that doesn't get it.

The Cowboys never say die thanks to a deep roster full of strong contributors

The Cowboys have done a great job of managing injuries this season

Not long ago the Dallas Cowboys were a team many people were laughing at. Losing seven of their first ten games, the team was heading into a dark place that would likely result in a high draft pick and a coaching staff overhaul in the offseason.

Well, times have changed.

The Cowboys are winning now, pulling out victories in four of their last five games. Although they were officially eliminated from the playoff contention on Sunday, the mood has shifted thanks to some good football and the incredible resolve the team has shown recently.

What is impressive about this recent stretch is how the team has persevered despite being struck hard with injuries. This year has been brutal as it hit them early and often and many of their top stars have suffered season-ending injuries. But even with all the setbacks, the Cowboys have been able to play well thanks to the depth of talent on this roster. Today, we’ll examine how each position group has been affected and draw attention to the players who have stepped up and given us something to cheer about down the stretch..

Winning now against the bottom half of the league. Don't let this foul you.

Fat Mike will be back unless HE chooses not to. Jerry is running out of submissive guys to be the head coach.

They are now playing well.

I have a feeling Eagles will spank us and we will come back down to reality. i am sure the defense will play hard but the offense just won’t be able, now special teams could carry us

The Eagles are playing with unhealthy qbs.

What amazes me is how impressed JJ and SJ are with a bunch of players and coaches who have 1 wild card win in 5 years. Acting like we would have had a great year “if not for the injuries” is either an indictment of how badly these guys judge what they have, or else they don’t care anymore how big they lie.

It doesn't matter "WHO" is brought in to Coach If the Owners don't bring in help besides the draft
It's going to be Lather Rinse and Repeat.
If I was Mike I would give Jerry an ultimatum Get me some Help and get up off of the Money.

It doesn't have to be either/or, though. Some of us are impressed that Mike and the coaches are getting everything they can out of the sub-par players they're having to put on the field, but that doesn't mean a healthy roster would have been world-beaters.

This season was lost in the offseason when we lost five or six contributing players and Jerry didn't even try to replace them. Other than the Dak injury, this was the most predictable season ever.

Both things in your last sentence are true, though. They're bad judges of talent and incredible liars. I'd say even worse, they're too optimistic, expecting everything to go right and every player to play to his max potential every year. And even worse than that, Jerry thinks he can make pet moves like clearly-washed-Zeke-as-starting-RB and it not affect things, when it actually has a huge effect. Especially because Jerry tends to double down on his mistakes.

What do you have this as news?
I told you guys months ago MM is coming back.
Why would Jerry bother to look for a new YES man at his age?
All the Clowns are returning with cash GALORE and if we win 8 games next season it will be a miracle.
Put that Jerry Kool-Aid down folks............jeez

The thing is if Rush prepared the whole season I think we win 2 of the Falcons, 49ers and Bengals games
LOL....the other side of the coin is we could have also lost the last 3-4 games. The more he plays, the more reel/tape for DCs. Do you honestly think DC's have thrown the kitchen sink at Rush? Rush has limitations but his greatest asset is KNOWING his limitations and playing within himself. He's done an excellent job avoiding negative plays and it's why he's confusing fans into thinking he's a better QB than Dak. Has he played better than Dak this year, absolutely but it is more situational football than talent which means his limitations are harder to camouflage against certain teams. That's why he's struggled with consistency from game to game. But he's smart and sometimes that be a QB's strongest weapon.

They beat the Giants and Panthers, two of the worst teams in the league, and the Commanders and Bucs, a pair of middling teams.

Our playoff problems aren’t suddenly solved with wins of that nature, nor by retaining Mike, but it’s not as if Jerry is going to do any better.

Mike is capable of a deep playoff run but the front office needs to cooperate…and we all know the odds on that.

Jerry will continue to successfully sell his perpetual mediocrity.
But fans become more and more like Jerry every year. Heck, some of them already believe we will be just fine next year if we run it all back.
