LOL....the other side of the coin is we could have also lost the last 3-4 games. The more he plays, the more reel/tape for DCs. Do you honestly think DC's have thrown the kitchen sink at Rush? Rush has limitations but his greatest asset is KNOWING his limitations and playing within himself. He's done an excellent job avoiding negative plays and it's why he's confusing fans into thinking he's a better QB than Dak. Has he played better than Dak this year, absolutely but it is more situational football than talent which means his limitations are harder to camouflage against certain teams. That's why he's struggled with consistency from game to game. But he's smart and sometimes that be a QB's strongest weapon.
Rush plays within his limitations. Dak plays like he is Mahomes, that’s the difference. There’s a reason Rico is doing so well, we have to use him.

With Dak we could pass 50 times and get by, not with this QB. If Dak operated like Rush we would have rookie Dak, Low turnover ratio and lots of run game.

Yeah I don't think Jerry is going to praise the coaching staff and the bright future the team has and then move on from them two weeks later.

There will be no change.

i think it will come down to three HC options
1) Stay with McCarthy and demand a few key asst. coaches changes - this could include a new OC that takes over the playcalling (other words returning to Kellen Moore like operations)
2) Pursue the most credible vet HC that has a past resume
3) Consider a Kellen Moore as new HC (while assisting him in placing new asst coaches)

-I believe Jerry would want an vet HC that has a credible past resume , and the other only one out there like that is Pete Carroll .

- Only Pete wont have the green light at player personnel and coaches as he has had in the past.
Carroll has had struggles with both offensive OCs and DC's - Ironically Two of those have been on this Cowboys staff in Schottenhemeir and Kris Richards
So will the club choose Carroll's own asst. coaches for him ?

- The only other pathway is choosing a familiar coach either from within the organization, ..or one that has coached within the organization at one point (ala Kellen Moore)

- i just think the Jones think very differently than most NFL teams when it comes to HC's.

guys let's just be real honest here... the sentiment right now with MM is extremely high to the point where they are stating MM has the leverage as a FA

JJ will not let MM go...look at MM resume it went just like this and he won a SB in GB...after an injury plagued season.

and a HoF Qb. can he win without one? if we are going by most posters logic, no he cant. So be careful how you answer this post, if you can.

Maybe, and still have Jerry, Dak and possibly Mike..and going nowhere.
with JJ trying to keep it mediocre, he might re sign Zeke at this point.

im not getting on board with anything until i see how the off season plays out.

its like Charlie Brown and Lucy with the football.

What amazes me is how impressed JJ and SJ are with a bunch of players and coaches who have 1 wild card win in 5 years. Acting like we would have had a great year “if not for the injuries” is either an indictment of how badly these guys judge what they have, or else they don’t care anymore how big they lie.
Maybe they actually believe it.

I know Jethro is always hyping and selling his product but I think more often than not he actually buys into it himself .

Like we see in social issues if you preach the lie enough it becomes gospel.
