Garrett is gone, that’s a given. Is the team he’s coaching any good? Who’s worth keeping?
Dak: as currently paid, fine. No way this guy should get big money. He sucked today when it mattered. Franchise and trade.
Zeke: tapped out in a big situation. Cost the team. Contract is a disaster. Ride him like a pony for a new qb to develop. Cut him when feasible in 2-3 years. He will be done by then.
Cooper: bye Felicia. Started out great, just like Oakland. NFCE DBs have him figured out. Tapped out when it mattered. Injury prone. HUGE drop, like usual. Do NOT pay.
Witten: bye
Gallup: keeper for now
Smith: Still great, but won’t be when 5his team can compete after the blow up. Trade for a 1st.
Zach: see Smith
Collins: build the next OL around him.
Connor: give him another year.
Travis: give him another year to help develop a young OL and find his old form. Trade after that.
Cobb: Let him go
On D, I wouldn’t sign anyone else long term, except maybe Lewis to a minor extension. Let Lee walk to a contender. Hope LVE can recover. Let Jones walk.
