Blow this thing up!

This team won't contend until it uses a premium draft pick on a QB and Jerry relinquishes power to a real GM. Can't win in this league paying TOP dollar for mediocrity at the QB position. Until then it's gonna be the same old song played again and again...
THIS!

Ehh I can be pessimistic. But be real.

Team needs RB, WR2, RG, DE, LB, DT (likely Osa)

A solid free agency and draft they will compete for the division.

Dak was the best QB in the league two seasons ago. So he may not be Burrow, Mahomes etc. but he can be a solid QB in this league.

They are much closer to competing than they are for needing a full blow up
:lmao:Jerry.....its time for bed, you're getting confused again.

I have been saying this since the Packers playoff loss. The only problem is that it will be Jerry who will be putting this team back together and we all know how that has worked out for the past 30 years!

Get yourself a new calendar and tissue.

Longtime standout Demarcus Lawrence, Carlos Watkins, Linval Joseph and Chauncey Golston are among the Cowboys defensive linemen set to hit free agency when the new league year begins on March 12.

The Cowboys began the process by tweaking one of their newest contracts. According to ESPN's Todd Archer, they restructured CeeDee Lamb's deal to create $20 million in cap savings.

Please name the last NFL team to "blow this whole thing up" for me.
Exactly. The idea that a team has to dismantle and start over to compete is overused and outdated. With the draft and free agency a team can be elevated to another level quickly. That's why I don't like when people start talking about a "window" closing. A couple of right moves and a team can be good as before the supposed window opened, or better.

At least I'm watching and not crying every time something happens.

I don't care if you cry your eyes out and mumble 30!

Except it's still being done. We've already listed the teams that did it. Hous just did it. They're now a playoff team.

Why are you guys so against rebuilding? It's weird.

From what I've seen its teams like the Jets and Panthers always blowing things up and starting over.... Never been a fan of the blowup strategy unless your roster is filled with a bunch of aging vets and its clear you don't have enough talent in place at other skill positions to be competitive. So knowing you have a team in decline perhaps a reset or a changing of the guard is needed. Other than Dak, I don't see a lot of aging vets here at the moment.
Those are the dregs of the league. Several good teams have blown it up and started over. Eagles, Texans, NYG. Pats are in the process of it, might work if they'd quit drafting the Mac Jones's of the draft.
