Blow this thing up!

I haven't given up on them entirely, but I'm willing to wait to see what comes of their future dealings. Stephen is giving strong hints that he's willing to take careful action on the veteran free agents, up to a point. On the other hand, Jerry carelessly admitted to being extremely reluctant to consider doing anything different this year, although, it remains to be seen how this FO carries out its intentions when the time comes to act.

Let's hope they demonstrate something to show their willingness to be more active than what they've been in the past. Yes, the early signs from Stephen are encouraging, but when Jerry speaks, he seems to be unwilling to say anything will change.

I really do hope he's avoiding showing his hand at this early juncture to avoid tipping his hand to other teams. In that event, he'd be better off to remain silent until the time comes for action to be taken. Maybe he's just confused.
Exactly and I'm not sitting here saying they are going to do something.

but I heard something different,

I think I've listened to them talk so much I kind of get what he was saying even though he didn't know how to put his own thoughts together, he ends up gaslighting fans for no reason,

but we don't know whether he's going to get something done more than last offseason or not, we'll probably we'll probably know by august LOL

That choice was long gone after they signed Lamb and Prescott.
Agreed , let play Dak on his last contract and franchise Ceedee, we can be sitting here blowing the whole offense but now we cant . So they have to go for alternative get a top RB and shore up OL ( cut bait with all projects & bring in couple of studs ) get a WR or go draft one ( unfortunately WR is long term draft prospect) .

At the same time improve DL ( DTs , LBs ) and bring in physical corners , not like allergic to tackling Diggs.

Jerry himself kind of admitted 2024 didnt work (and appeared to blame it on Dak and injuries), ok bring back and use 2025 as the 'new 2024' where he needs to have an honest look at Dak and the draft pick over the past three years.

I suppose the question is: should he throw money at this team, when there are so many questions about those of Rookie Deals and Dak.

They do have a (so called strategy), its Annual Relevance. If he was mad about the GB game and was ever going to go to the extreme, it was last year 2024....either:
A) resign Tyron, Gilmore, Hankins, Pollard and go ALL-IN for one (two at best years), or
B) Trade: Dlaw, Tank, J-Lew, Martin, Wilson and let Dak play for his contract with a 'gutted roster'....yep 2024 would of hurt, but think where we'd be now.
Stick to the pub and dartboard!
Is that all you got? Valid points were being made, but you obviously dont get into discussions on anything but topics of a basic rudimentary level?

We're talking about extending parsons... we are stuck with the highest paid QB that will never ever win. Ever! In a Qb league.
We have more holes that need repairing than NY pot holes.
Blow this whole thing up and accumulate draft picks, this circus needs to come to an end.
Don’t think this will happen.

That was just the Lynchpin.

Since 2019, the Eagles have replace 3 OLs, both starting WRs, their RB, their QB, 3 of their starting DL, all 3 LBs, and 3 of their DBs.

That's 16 of 22 starters.

And that's from a simple perusal of their starting lineup prior to last year.

Wentz didn't work out. They determined that he was not going to take them there. Sooooooo, they got what they could, and started using draft picks acquired to rebuild. Almost a complete rebuild.

What's up w/ such strong resistance against blowing it up to get into super bowl contention?
you realize that most teams rosters turnover like that after 6 years?

Likely not all things considered.

the average NFL roster turns over 25% every year. The average NFL players career is 3,3 years. Now what do you think that looks like after 6 for the average team?

Please name the last NFL team to "blow this whole thing up" for me.
Its more about turnover rather than blow-up. eg Eagles 2020 (4-11) team didnt stay around, traded away to build.

So, if, after the GB 'play-off' we'd traded: Osa, Tank, Martin, J-Lew (and as we did....not re-sign: Gilmore, Tyron, Pollard, Hankins),.....would you of classified that as a "BLOW THIS THING UP" ?

We are discussing blowing it up a year too late. The above, coupled with Dak playing out his last contract (maybe even re-signing this year, to a more realistic/sensible contract), would of pre-luded any NEED to be discussing blowing it up. But Jerry's ANNUAL RELEVANCY, and even to a point, the fanbase who continually have the expectation to be building forward, rather than accepting that you have to trade away and re-tool to build the foundation.

The difference is that we dont trade them, we just run down the contracts, rather than restock by trading away anything of (part) value. There's an argument that after GB...where we didnt re-sign Tyron, Pollard, Gilmore, Hankins (Fowler/Armstrong), why retain your aging vets: Martin, DLaw....even J-Lew and Osa.

Just 8 players? No.
Well isnt that blowing it up? If you dont re-sign the group that got us to the 12-5 (then trounced by GB)and you're not adding talent via FA, then you're bringing back a lesser roster, hoping to win. To be blowing it up is re-tooling, away from Same Ole, evaluating whether you improve by trading away players you're going to lose for nothing in 12 months time.
