That guy is gonna cost us a couple games this year. They need to bring in someone to compete with him.
Yep. Huge mistake not upgrading that position in the offseason.

So let me get this straight, if I cancel Att/dtv, worse case I can watch the games as soon as they finish on NFL network? Cause after 20+ years of Sunday ticket....I'm ready to blow.them off
If you have that sucking AT&T DTV it will not be on KXTA 21, as it and CBS 11 are not being shown from the contract dispute.
Which also means no local broadcast of the PS games until it is settled.
I am about to cancel that crap service anyway and go to spectrum.
Ive thought about this but I am a DVR addict and record a ton of other shows including games of all kinds in case I miss them or to get behind enough to fast forward through commercials and other garbage like Half time.. so if I cancel all major cable that provide dvrs and many options for cable channels then what on the DVR? Im 49 im not fan of watching things on a computer or phone, smart tvs do not provide enough REAL apps or ways to DVR to just flat out cut the cord yet unless im missing something..I am not sure I understand the entire conversation. But I canceled DTV and just bought game pass.
You can't watch the games live.
I like that there are no commercials and I can sit down and watch a game whenever I want. It is normally cowboys on Mon, Pats on Tues, Packers on Wed, Pitt on Thursday, KC on Friday, and Rams on Sat.
Well history is full of Super Bowls. Their recent history says otherwise.
And yeah they may be screwing up with Garrett. But regardless of how we feel about him we know that this team plays hard for him and when healthy they more than likely make the post season more times than not. I'm not telling anyone here how to be a fan but it does seem a bit extreme to make much out of a scrimmage game. That's my only stance.
The stream usually improves as people give up on watching it.

I hope that you called Direct and b'd. They will immediately give you $50 off of your next bill. I'll keep calling once per week until they put my local station back on the air. My Nexstar channel is ABC so I'm, currently, not missing out on much sports, but I'll be po'd if it's not on come the winter months. Living in PA, I need as many options as possible!
that's the problem they switched customer service to the Philippines and they give you nothing. you want to quit they say go ahead and quit and there's no more retention calls as far as I know.I blew off Sunday Ticket after almost 20 years. Did not have it for 3 years, then they gave it to me free fro 2 years, but refused to pay for it last year. If I get the chance to get rid of them all together, I will. Phone, internet and DTV. If they give me $65 a month off my bill again, or ST free, I may consider staying. But my phone is for sure getting switched to a different carrier, I can cut my bill in half.

so if I can't get anything out of them I'm not staying. Plus I have no Fox network at all and I'm missing a couple under Independence that they're fighting with
Garbage
That was my thinking as well. I don't think Covington has done anything to secure his roster spot. In fact, he is behind right now since he was injured during the first conditioning tests. I also don't remember him playing much at all before now.
It could be that media simply hasn't focused on him since the entire defense seems to be doing well. However, even March-Lillard has been pointed out for making plays, which tells me that if Covington had done something to stand out, we probably would have read about it.
They should sign Matt Bryant before someone else does.
I don't think he's even practiced that much TO have stood out. But I've always considered him a size-speed-traits project anyway, and if Gifford proves to be more than that, I can easily see him winning the spot over Covington.
I agree. I know he's 44, but 20 of 21 on FGs last year shows he hasn't lost it, while Maher's 80.6 percent is in line with his career.
That may be true. I haven't seen reports of him being held out of practice, but most of the reports I've seen have only mentioned the big names missing.
