Blue Chip Prospects

I feel like this term is thrown around way too casually every year. For me it is legit top 5 caliber prospects in any class that have all pro potential.

Think Luck, Alt, Chase, Garrett, Kuechly, Jalen Carter, etc...

This years class which is not top heavy? I have 1...

Caleb Downs. He will not get drafted early due to positional value but he is arguably the best player in the draft. He is a do it all S that can be a chess piece like defender. I see him as a more athletic version of Kyle Hamilton who has been a star.

Love will at the very minimum be a top 3 RB in the league.

The Rams are getting a top 10 pick from Atlanta. Thank goodness there are not any blue chip quarterbacks that McVay can get his hands on.
