I love the blue jerseys. I wish we would wear them more often. Speaking of which, I wonder if we will wear them at the new stadium, since heat won't be as big of a factor there. Hmmm.

I don't know how accurate this is, but I found it at this site: http://en.allexperts.com/q/Dallas-Cowboys-276/record-blue-uniforms.htm

after extensive reviewing of my game tapes, highlight videos, and books, I have found out their record since the 1992 season. The Cowboys record while wearing the navy jerseys including the 2006 season thus far including both playoff losses to the Panthers in 1996 and 2003, is (16-25). Now since the blue uniforms have changed so much over the last several years, this record includes the old standard 2-stripe navy jerseys, the navy Double-Star, the current stars n' stripes jersey, and the current Thanksgiving 1960-ish throwback. This stat does not include Pre-season though. Whew, I hope this helps some and thanks for asking. :)

The link is dated 11/2006, so if it's accurate and you add last year's 2-1 record in the blues, you get a record of 18/26 for a winning percentage of 69% since 1992. Not bad really, at least not worthy of the jinx label.

and in that same time span..........what is our record with white jerseys?

BTW, the Campo years were harsh years....injuries, dead money, and aging talent took its toll on our record. It was a similar situation to the end of the Landry era and the first 2 years of the Jimmy era, minus the dead money salary cap issue.

When we won our only game in Aikman's rookie year, they were wearing the blue jerseys.

You may think I'm crazy, but I saw this coming as soon as they announced it on the NFL schedule.
You're certainly right about the first part...

Update: We will wear the traditional blues at Cleveland, at St. Louis and at Washington. We will wear the throwback blues at home against San Francisco on November 23.

Sicne when does St. Louis wear white at home? They have no "heat" issues in the dome.

Our passing attack and pass rush will give the Rams all the heat they care for.

EWWWWWW....not against the Forty-Whiners. That is gonna further *******ize the rivalry I grew up watching.

NEVER want to see us wearing blue against them. It's silver and white vs. gold and red and that's how it should always be.

Bleh.

From 1981 through 2004, the blue jersey record in road games was slightly superior percentage-wise to white jersey road games. I have the figures somewhere if anyone wants to see them.

Cowboys to wear dreaded blue jerseys :starspin

Brace yourself. The Cowboys will be wearing their dreaded blue jerseys Sunday.
With temperatures expected to be in the 80s, the Browns have opted to wear white in the hope that the Cowboys will get tired quicker wearing the darker jerseys.
The Cowboys will also don the blue on Oct. 19 at St. Louis and on Nov. 16 at Washington. On Thanksgiving, it's the throwback jerseys for a game against Seattle.

I love when our opponents have to resort to the color of jersey's to try and stop us!!
