Blue/Trigg unique skillsets but maturity concerns

It's all gravy. It will all workout with or without them.
Yes, that is true It's kind of like when you land a guy like Miles Austin and he develops guys like Rico come out of nowhere but a guy like Flournoy right now, just on the come up.

It's all gravy... So if we can find a dynamic starting TEs in the same way. That's a bonus to what we already have on the roster it's just a addition that can slowly replace some of the other guys..

Do you remember that undrafted guy, That Tony Romo dude turned out to be pretty good..lol

With or without these two, the O will reach another level. Williams is consistently reliable and our TE position is suitably filled with Fergie. The only thing that can stop us is a poor D.
They did struggle against the better teams especially on the road

Hard to believe the level of distrust they had with Blue.........but they apparently saw the same issues that cost him playing time in college. Schotty kept saying he had to earn the right to play. Correct me if I'm wrong but that's work ethic. Even crazier, this was just a couple of games' issue, but the entire season.
Hopefully he has learned what is expected of him or his roster spot could become in jeopardy

Cowboy offense just doesn't have that home run type of back, outside of Blue. Same goes for the TE position lacking that athletic pass catcher.

Blue barely dressed last season as they just didn't trust him enough. In the season finale, he showed the explosiveness that Williams just doesn't possesses.

Trigg who many saw as a early day 3 pick, went undrafted due to his character concerns. His tape shows a huge catch radius like a poor man's Dez Bryant. Him up the seem and in the red zone with our other receivers could be downright scary.

The big question is, will these two players buy in and do what it takes to become key contributors next season? It is a big if at this time, but if they do, our offense could reach another level.
This isn’t directed at your post, but just a thought associated with your post. I would like to have a bit more insight as to what Blue’s issues are. I haven’t seen the specifics regarding the deficiencies Blue has?

Is it mental lapses? Emotional outburst? Lack of following instruction? Ball security? Freelancing? Blitz pickup? Doesn’t know the playbook? That can cover a lot of ground.

That would definitely help in knowing if we should have some hope for him or not, depending on what the issues are.

First impression of him here was when he showed up for his first practice in Louis Vuitton shoes and promptly injured his feet.

We don’t know the specifics, but it’s an enough that he was a healthy scratch for most of the season.

Yes. It’s strange that’s it’s big enough to prevent him from getting playing time yet so nebulous that we have no idea what it is. I find that a bit unusual.

what happens if Javonte gets injured? we should explore bringing in a veteran backup RB.

I wanted a late pick on Kaytron Allen Penn st the Commanders drafted him . Don’t go to sleep on Washington they are reloading for another run

IDK If I consider him a star in the making, but he's on the same trajectory as it took Rico a while, and he reminds me of Tony Pollard, I mean he runs just like him if you will watch his game they're probably about the same size with speed and wiggle, so yeah, I like this room I don't know why people think we need to go in and add another to this group, Mafahs another bruiser..

I Like the whole room, Blue gives you home run hitting ability, and they need to really use that this year not a lot this dude doesn't need a lot of extra snaps, but I'd like him to at least touch the ball five times as a runner and get at least two to three more routes..

In my opinion they need to stop using CD Lamb and Turpin as much as running backs, and use the guys that are built to do it Same plays, same play calls Just use the guys were built to do this..
Total agree, stupid trying to finesse a run play and injure your wr1.

At least they weren't platform sneakers. Why was he allowed to get on the field with them anyway? I guess mass ignorance is bliss.

He didn’t submit them to the equipment people and the coaches didn’t notice at first until he took himself out.

Indicator of knucklehead syndrome.

I’m sure that’s not what kept him in Schottenheimer’s doghouse but it wasn’t a good first impression
