It's good to see that Free appears to be in bette shape; although, quickness has never been a problem for him. His issue has always been a lack of upper body strength.Free looks like a man who worked hard off season on his quickness, Parnell looked like a man who worked hard at sampling fast food.

Parnell does not look like the aggressive player that I was a fan of in 2012.

He was injured last year and we haven't really seen him since. I noticed he was not really getting down in his stance; however, the biggest issue was a lack of aggressiveness. When he played in real games he was borderline over aggressive. He needs to get his aggressiveness back in the upcoming preseason game.I thought the sky was the limit for Parnell also, wonder if he had some little nagging injury we didn't hear about.
It has always been frustrating that he has not been better considering his athleticism and size. I do wonder if he has issues with his shoulders that can't really get better by working out. I have known people with loose or weak shoulders that didn't necessarily need surgery but just wouldn't get stronger naturally.I'm hoping Z that with him trimming down that maybe he worked on his strength in the offseason. I would really like to see him build on last year. I don't think all hope is lost with Free, and I think he can be a good piece on a strong line. I think if he does improve again we don't have to worry about spending another high pick next year on the line. Fingers crossed I am very curious how it will play out

He was "good enough" last season. I'm not really in favor of moving Martin to OT next year, but it might happen anyway.
If Free plays the same as last season, then they could re-sign him. I don't think he will get any big offers. Free's status as "good enough" is better than some spots on defense. That could be, we will have to wait and see. I just don't want to spend another high pick on the line when we will need help on the dline and maybe safety and depending on Romo health maybe his future replacement, and of course Murray is going to be FA. It would be nice if he just took hold and just played solid. He doesn't have to be great just decent.
