Blue White Scrimmage

Damn

We have to many then, lol. I don't want to lose any of those guys.

Who would you have as our 5-6?

Dez, Williams, Beasley, Harris, Street, and Boyd if we keep 6 ......... We will prolly lose Boyd and Byrd

I jumped up yelling Dez after the long TD catch and run. I realized crap it's just a scrimmage

Damn......

I pray this is not the case, you are dead on though. After Beasley there is no way Harris and Street go. Hope we do keep 6

Not impressed with Randle at all
Scandrick is ready for a big season
Dez nuff said
Twill is really good at tracking the football
Gavin has some really soft hands
Street can run some clean routes
Leary will be the LG he is strong
Free looks really good and very trim
Martin/Fred look like 10 year Vets
JJ has some fire and talent
Holloman looks ready to start
Wilber working on DL (nickel rusher)
Romo moving well encouraging
Weedon still sucks
Dan Bailey still Dan Bailey
McClain did not see him much

Just a few things I noticed

For two years I thought Parnell was going to unseat Free and become a decent OT.

Last year it was his injuries.

This year he simply looks like he hasn't progressed.

I want to say that there is a night and day difference between Free and Parnell. Free just looks so much more confident this year even compared to last year.

I think this comes from being surrounded by smart players on the line so he is not babysitting every play. These new kids are as football smart as he is with more talent ....... makes things easy on him.

Without trying to search out the webs I think Free worked hard this offseason. His body does look different and he is a smart guy so I hope he really puts it all together and has a solid year

Barring injuries, this is gonna be a brutal choice.
Even if we keep 6.

This has been one of the most disappointing things I've read in several reports. His movement skills, athleticism and power are all there in abundance. I wonder if he's let his technique get sloppy, kind of like Free did a few years ago.

Hopefully, he figures it out, but it certainly doesn't look like he's going to pose any kind of challenge to Free this year, not that he necessarily was if he played his best.

Well I imagine there is a reason the Browns cut him and that he's a backup. lol

Yeah, I get that. I just expected a QB with that much experience to be able to read vanilla coverages in a scrimmage. He looked like Brad Johnson, just defaulting to the flats or overthrowing the sideline.

He definitely has a strong arm if he can ever figure out the mental part.
