I want someone with NFL experience and like someone pointed out in another thread the only college coach to have success recently was Jimmy.

Because almost all of the successful ones are assistants or coordinators first.

There is not one NFL head coach that had success at a major college in the past. Gone are Butch Davis (Miami), Erickson (Miami), Saban (LSU), Spurrier (Florida), etc...

What exactly has he done at Oklahoma that makes him such a great HC?

Without the long line of assistants he had like Mark Mangino, Mike Stoops, Mike Leach, Bo Pelini, Brent Venables, etc., over the years, he should have success. Since the departure of those guys, Stoops has been rather average.

Brad Sham is on The Ticket and said that if he was running the show at Valley Ranch, that Bob Stoops is very intriguing.

Also said that he wouldn't mind seeing Norv Turner.

Brad did mention that Jerry most likely has a short list of coaches who he wants and that the one that is hired will have a nice resume to boot.
