YES!!!!Yep, one way or another. I don't much care at this point which way it goes. I just want the speculation to end.
End the drama please!!!!

It makes sense. You shouldn't have to explain it like he's an 8 year old.
Because he's not under contract. Why would you trade away picks for a player not under contract? What I mean is, if Dak is as bad as the haters say, why would another team pay him and give us draft capitol in return? That's what makes no sense to me.

No team has even tried. Where do you get this?
It's cool.I haven't gotten it from anywhere. However, once the Cowboys tag Prescott (if they have to) I believe his rights could then be traded. Once again, let me apologize for making a stupid post.
more than 80% of first round QBs fail. more than 90% of all drafted QBs fail. we LUCKED into Dak, so now you want to go try you LUCK again. ala Qunicy Carter, Chad Hutchinson, Anthony Wright, Clint Stoener....
since Pats found their QB in the 6th round that proves you can find a Goat in the 6th round and all teams should just not draft QBs hight and just draft them in the 6th round!!!
and its not easy to be good, top 10 NFL QB these days, lets not forget Winston the top pick in the draft threw 30 interceptions, Average QBs throw for 20-25 TDs and their teams include the likes of Raiders, Detroit, Atlanta, Arizona...just a bunch of average to below average teams. as for interceptions, Drew Lock led the league last year with 15.....what you mean to look at is the interception%, which had aaron rodgers and mahomes at the top, but nick mullen, wentz and lock at the bottomwith 12-15 interceptions...
Dak had 30 TDs in 2019, 4th in the league, in 5 games in 2020 he had 9, 33rd in the league...
by comparison, he had only 11 interceptions in 2019.
Dak is clearly a top 10 QB in almost every statistical category..... sorry dude, Tannehill is the ultimate bus driver, who rides Henry's back to wins with 80 yard and 75 yard passing performances...
I wasn't trying to explain it that way. Sometimes my posts' meanings are hard to understand. That's my fault and nobody elses.
Only Dak apologists like you talk about stats for QB success
To me and most Cowboys fans “success” means getting to the playoffs and winning in the playoffs and getting to and winning CCGs and SBs
This team with Dak has made the playoffs 2 out of 4 seasons (not counting 2020 although the team had a horrible record with Dak as QB)
1 playoff win in 4 years starting
ZERO CCGs or SBs
that’s NOT success

This will be one of Jerry’s biggest mistakes, and thats saying something
I love the people that want a full blown rebuild after a win now coaching hire.....along with a front office that has never won crap while they were in charge.
I'm not at all confident the Dak/MM combo is a winner, but you've got to try before blowing it up.
People assume blowing it up makes it better in 2-3 years like teams that hire real football people.
Peyton was drafted by the worst team in football. Day was drafted into the best offense in the NFL.all you dak haters, need to kind of get together in a forum and decide what measure you want to use for QBs, because it changes every other post....
so you basically just said, all wins and losses are on the QB and no other part of the team, including coaching is accountable...correct?
the team was 2-3 with Dak at QB in 2020 and the leading offense in the league and historically good. unfortunately we also had a historically bad defense giving up 36+ points a game.
Peyton Manning went 0-4 in his first 4 playoff appearance. I guess they should ahve just kicked him to the curb.
Wilson has gone 1-3 in the playoffs over the past 5 years, I guess, his time is done and seattle should just cut their losses.
