Twitter: Bob Sturm on the Cowboys offense going forward

If we had Josh Allen we would be Super Bowl favorites with this defense. This kind of defense wins Championships with a little bit of offensive help, more offensive help than yesterday obviously.
The defense would improve from allowing 14.4 points per game to 14.3 points per game...

Some folks hate Dak so much, they would rather lose with Cooper Rush.
You know what’s great?

The nervous energy from the Anti-Dak Cult Members right now.

Our defense is built to win BIG with even a decent offense and a decent QB.

Even the most brain-dead Anti-Dakker says Dak is “average”.

Okay... then that still means he’s good enough to win BIG with this defense.

That’s the real reason why they’re TERRIFIED of what might happen when Dak comes back.

“NOOOO, PLEAAASE keep Cooper Rush in, even when Dak is 100% healthy!!!”

Sports message boards like CZ really show human nature.

I'm convinced that many Dak haters continue to hate him because they committed to it at some point in the past and now root for him to fail.
- Many don't hate Dak because of Dak himself, but because they predicted at some point in the past that Dak would not be a good QB.
- Now they obsessively attempt to prove themselves to be correct.

It's similar with draft picks where people continually post positive or negative statements about players because they liked or disliked that player in the draft.
- The calls for Jabril Cox to play more relate back to people that liked him as a draft pick.
- The hate for CB Joseph is based on people that didn't like the draft pick.

Keep the beagles' defense honest.
Don't be predictable.
Be balanced, but mix in some passes on first downs.
Draw plays. Screen plays. Play actions. Look down field some on passing plays.
Don't do any silly razzle-dazzle play.
Let Turpin return couple of punts.

Very similar to today's society nationwide.

it really is this simple, the offense will need to be much more efficient in scoring to do anything against good teams.
