He’s still here because he provides insurance. Cook may be more washed up than him or he would be playing. They certainly aren’t going to go with Deuce if Dowdle gets injured.
 
It wouldn't shock me if he retired at the end of the season.
 
Somewhere out there, there is another Tolbert, and another Pollard just sitting.
They should be here.
Zeke should be changing the oil in the deep fryer.

Yeah, a passing game that averaged amongst the highest at 265 ypg passing with only 1 legit threat at WR but absolutely not rushing threat.

100% you had a few regulars on here saying that and he was just used wrong. I'm not posting any links as I dont think this is appropriate for a 'gotcha' moment nor do I have any negative feelings toward those posters, but I have no issue having some fun with takes that didnt age well.

He’s washed but we can’t give Dowdle every single carry. He needs a breather for a play here and there. It wasn’t a stupid signing at the time we had nothing at RB after doing nothing in free agency. You’re living in the moment.

There were like 20 other RB's that would've been better "insurance" than Zeke. Joe Mixon was CHEAP. He could've probably done more than Dowdell also. The FO just has nepotism for "their guys" and the nostalgia clouds their judgement. Zeke was done 3-4 years ago.
