1st round draft pick that has been evaluated by two different defensive-minded coaches, whom both agree that he is barely a special teamer.

so far so good on the bust category. i think this year his back is against the wall. he either finds a way onto the field via special teams or defense, or he finds another home.

Wow! Nice sweater hams! Where was Bobby...................?

If he was a real cowboy he would rope that heifer and brand her.

You've crystallized my thoughts pretty well here.

He shouldn't, because that's not his newly-wedded wife.

Carpenter is not a bust yet...Chill the hell out people.

No you are correct. He won't officially be a bust until probably this time next year, when I suspect he'll be traded or released. Lets get real though he will never be a starter on this team barring injury. Not enough pass rush to play outside, not physical enough to play inside. Good luck to him on a 4-3 team.

I guess being an embarrassment through just his lack of on-field production wasn't enough...

Poor horse. That's quite a load it had on its back at the 3:06 mark. Where's PETA when you need them? :(

:starspin I feel the same way about him, it's time to finally contribute, or move on.

I don't think video was that bad and I don't think Carpenter was that bad in it either. Too bad Carpenter hasn't been able to contribute much to the team as he hoped. Romo had Carpenter on his Inside the Huddle show late last season and Carpenter came across as a good guy & good friend of Romo's who really wanted do more to help the Cowboys; it obviously Carpenter was a down about his lack of success so far.

Which means, he'll eventually land in Miami. :lmao2:
