This is all Stephen. Jerry just gives the final thumbs up or thumbs down. Literally just a figure head who talks WAY to much.

Stephen deserves the credit or blame and has for a long time. It's his show now.

I hate to give Stephen credit for anything. He is the main reason we have went cheap in FA the last 10 years or so.

I’m sorry man. Go with yr position and argue yr point with others.. I don’t find any validity in yr analogy of Wager and Haley. Different positions and completely different impact from Leighton to Wagner. It’s just not worth the time to go further with this.

Our team is getting very close. The pieces are coming together. Jerry is making moves like it is the early 90’s.

Find a way to sign Bobby Wagner. Hopefully, Wagner will see what we are building here, along with a call from Micah AND decide to come to Dallas!!! Maybe Wagner will give us a bit of a discount.

I like the way LVE played last year, but Wagner would be a SOLID upgrade at MLB. Our LBer core with Wagner, LVE, and Clark would improve vs the pass and the run. Who knows, LBer could become the strength of the defense! That would be saying something.

Of course it is important to still pickup a big run stuffing DT or 2. Resigning Hankins would be a very good move if the price is doable.

Also, signing LVE should not stop us from signing Wagner. LVE signed a very team friendly deal. We do not have very much money put into the LBer position right now.

Although they made some recently good moves lately, I just don't think that Jerry and Capboy are not ballsy enough to make this move. It can work. But they won't even consider it if it costs them a lot.

You think Wagner is a great player, but don’t think he could help get us to the next level?

In our defense, I don’t think he’s the difference between winning or losing, not an inside LB. If he was anyone’s missing piece, he’d already be signed.

Explain how you fit that under the salary cap. Do you propose we restructure more contracts? We’ve already restructured Tank, Tyron, Dak, Gallup and Martin.

Easiest way to open up space is signing Pollard long term but I’d avoid doing that.

I would trade in the draft to end up with Texas RB Robinson. And just pay for Wagner as that final piece...

Wagner would be the cherry on top, but we also need a NT. I think we should get both Wagner and Robinson (NT) or Hankins, and then draft either Siaki Ika (Baylor) or Mazi Smith (Michigan) to force defences to be unable to run on us.
