If you are saying they have become zombies, I would agree.
Yeah, there is something zombie like about it all--like they are playing in a fog.
save for Dez, everyone on offense looks mechanical... routes are not crisp or run with velocity to break tackles. everything is turn and look for the football or catch it on your hip running sideways- until we're down two scores. then everything looks different until someone blows the final chance at a W a la Terrence Williams today.
I'm not sure if this team practices well. Jason Witten is not a smart football player.
Another thought about the body language / emotion of the offense. I think Romo is in pain...both physically with back/ribs but also emotionally from being shredded so often by fans and the media.
He was a joyful exuberant guy in his first few seasons. Then came a misplayed slick ball on an extra point that was replayed on TV ad nauseum. Then came TO-xic and all the negativity from mediots like Sanders and Faulk. Then came the cancerous rage of hater fans.
And look...if it hurts to breathe because of bruised or cracked ribs...how much of a happy rah-rah guy can you be?
.
Don't forget the Jessica pink jersey and Mexico with Carp before playoff game controveries....
ill tell you guys i was at the game today and i felt very bad for one player in particular Tony Romo. He was game today and the team let him down. He is surronded by a dumb football team .Witten , Dez, Williams all had critical drops on 3rd down to keep drives alive. The play calling is also bad. Ive noticed that when this team is down by even a single point they abandon the run and go into hurry up and shotgun mode. I HATE THAT SO MUCH. It shows that you have no confidence and your thrown off your game. They abandoned the run today and were losing by 2 points.Another thing i hate about this offense is when we get around the 20 all routes go to the end zone. Its freaking annoying. The Wrs all run full speed into the end zone on streak patterns . terrible play designing im just over it.
