Does this team have bad body language on the field? It seems like they are going through the motions a lot of the time, especially on offense.

Yeah, there is something zombie like about it all--like they are playing in a fog.

save for Dez, everyone on offense looks mechanical... routes are not crisp or run with velocity to break tackles. everything is turn and look for the football or catch it on your hip running sideways- until we're down two scores. then everything looks different until someone blows the final chance at a W a la Terrence Williams today.

I've been saying this all night about the routes and how they are designed. No crossing patterns etc... Heck look at the slant to Dez that was broken up the ball was thrown low and away why not out I front so he can catch it and go. It's all play design. It's about finding a spot and sitting down and waiting for the ball not running under it or catching it in stride or anticipation. No deep ball no intermediate routes. We never send more then 1 guy deep at a time which is why it's always covered. Frustrated with it.

I'm not sure if this team practices well enough. It doesn't translate to game days.

I'm not sure if this team practices well. Jason Witten is not a smart football player.

I suspect Witten has been subjected to more-than-a-few concussions that have never been reported. He is facing the quarterback trying to catch a ball...putting him in repeated unprotected positions where defenders can blow him up. He also sometimes is asked to block like a fullback. Read: Massive and repeated collisions.

Just my theory.

Another thought about the body language / emotion of the offense. I think Romo is in pain...both physically with back/ribs but also emotionally from being shredded so often by fans and the media.

He was a joyful exuberant guy in his first few seasons. Then came a misplayed slick ball on an extra point that was replayed on TV ad nauseum. Then came TO-xic and all the negativity from mediots like Sanders and Faulk. Then came the cancerous rage of hater fans.

And look...if it hurts to breathe because of bruised or cracked ribs...how much of a happy rah-rah guy can you be?

Witten is old. Miles is crippled. The o-line is light on any kind of Nate Newton personality. I do agree that the emotional tone isn't ideal. As per solutions...I got nothing.

The 90's Cowboys was stacked with charismatic leadership and personality. It's different now.

.

Don't forget the Jessica pink jersey and Mexico with Carp before playoff game controveries....

ill tell you guys i was at the game today and i felt very bad for one player in particular Tony Romo. He was game today and the team let him down. He is surronded by a dumb football team .Witten , Dez, Williams all had critical drops on 3rd down to keep drives alive. The play calling is also bad. Ive noticed that when this team is down by even a single point they abandon the run and go into hurry up and shotgun mode. I HATE THAT SO MUCH. It shows that you have no confidence and your thrown off your game. They abandoned the run today and were losing by 2 points.Another thing i hate about this offense is when we get around the 20 all routes go to the end zone. Its freaking annoying. The Wrs all run full speed into the end zone on streak patterns . terrible play designing im just over it.

Fair enough. Romo has helped bring a few things upon himself. But Romo's little play with Jessica Simpson was sure greeted more harshly than Miles brief dalliance with a certain Kardashian girl. The criticism has been disproportionate.

This team has been playing like robots for the better part of 15 years (and running).

Welcome to the party boss! All it takes is a one point deficit or a one yard lose and it's pass pass pass pass pass (Big Sean voice)! Garrett will lose this team if he refuses to run more.
