Bodycam Footage of Odell Beckham Jr. Plane Incident

The flight crew made it something embarrassing for him. He isnt right but they may benefit from some sensitivity training.
I'm sure once fellow first class snobs started challenging him he held his position.

Just an unfortunate incident all around. Doesn't make me think he is some monster.
I would’ve challenged him too.

I have always disliked Odell but I have to take his side on this. That was total garbage. The issue was resolved once authorities showed up but yet they kept pushing to get him booted. He wasn’t belligerent or purposefully noncompliant. We gave flight attendants a tiny bit of power since 911 and they’ve proven time and again they cannot handle it without abusing it.

someone said he had shorts on under the pants
Which is a weird thing to notice, and even weirder to then mention to the police later.

In fact - how did anyone even know he had shorts on under his pants? How could they tell?

Something doesn't add up...

they just wanted to finally have some power over a successful person, miserable flight attendants.

He was obviously partying in Miami. You figured his head would be more into getting his body right and trying to sign with a team. It's not like he's 23 anymore.

Bunch of Snitches.
Flight attendant probably was a teachers pet. She escalated everything as the cops were leaving, she wasn't happy with their assessment.

Not saying Beckham was right with what he was doing, but it wasn't that serious.

This is an interesting case. His ego has been stroked for so long, that any semblance of a normal person is long gone. He doesn't even realize how dumb he looks. He may not even care.

In hindsight it wasn't serious. But how often does that happen? They probably just didn't want the possibility of an issue, no matter how remote. Think about it, what does the captain or flight attendants care if one person doesn't fly, just in case?

I think looking at the history of commercial flight, the number of passenger abuses vs. the number of flight attendant abuses, I think the flight attendants deserve a little leeway. Happy to send you a mountain of videos of douchey passengers getting drunk on alcohol or self-righteousness and taking swings at the staff if you'd like. That's why they have the discretion to make a judgment call before they get in the air. I think every category of people besides the other passengers look bad from this video. Cops, flight crew, OBJ, they all look pretty bad to me, but I wouldn't say this incident makes me rethink the amount of power flight attendants have to keep themselves, OBJ himself and the other passengers safe.

He was in his underwear :lmao:

A long time ago someone asked me, why are toll collectors so slow. I said because we don't care where you're going, how long it takes you to get there, or if you ever get there at all. Keep that in mind when listening to the flight crew.

They want the easiest path from point A to point B. If that means tossing someone that might be a problem, they don't care.
