The flight crew supposedly tried to wake him several times. Then, they had no choice but to call for ems. If he was sick and they didn't act they'd assume all the liability. He acted like a clown making everyone de-board, and mouthing off about his private jet. Give me a break.

In all seriousness, it wouldn't have been difficult to goat him into it, and I can imagine these guys are put in that spot often. Then, when you behave without regard for anyone but yourself, it has to be tenfold.

Nobody knows what happened prior to the body cam, and maybe he was wronged. I doubt it, but it is certainly possible.

The only thing we know was how he behaved after the fact, and he came off like a self centered d-bag.

I think looking at the history of commercial flight, the number of passenger abuses vs. the number of flight attendant abuses, I think the flight attendants deserve a little leeway. Happy to send you a mountain of videos of douchey passengers getting drunk on alcohol or self-righteousness and taking swings at the staff if you'd like. That's why they have the discretion to make a judgment call before they get in the air. I think every category of people besides the other passengers look bad from this video. Cops, flight crew, OBJ, they all look pretty bad to me, but I wouldn't say this incident makes me rethink the amount of power flight attendants have to keep themselves, OBJ himself and the other passengers safe.

Yeah but a lot of those flight attendants get trippy on their powers. It gets a little annoying, especially the mask pushers at the time. Remember when people were being harrased to leave flights just because of a maga hat? Unreal, too much power to start crap. If the person isn't being nasty and causing a scene than just let it be.

I don't know if anyone watched 14 mins in where he got into a confrontation with an older dude, told him he was going to wait 40 minutes while he was on a private plane home. Then he called him a fat ***

Oh I don’t really disagree, for sure tons of horrible passengers that should get tossed. But I think we swung the pendulum a bit far in favor of the attendants. In this and most cases, i think the authorities should be making that ultimate call. Plenty of douchey flight attendants too, esp in the US.

Flight attendants don’t make the call, the captain does. It’s even mentioned in the video by the flight attendants that the captain makes that call and he wanted him off. Once they had to turn the plane around because he wouldn’t put his seatbelt on (and wasn’t responsive), that’s all she wrote.

A long time ago someone asked me, why are toll collectors so slow. I said because we don't care where you're going, how long it takes you to get there, or if you ever get there at all. Keep that in mind when listening to the flight crew.

They want the easiest path from point A to point B. If that means tossing someone that might be a problem, they don't care.
