When OBJ was asked to get off the plane he should have complied. Tying up the time of multiple law enforcement officers and first responders because he refused is a waste of limited resources. They could have been needed elsewhere.

The flight crew supposedly tried to wake him several times. Then, they had no choice but to call for ems. If he was sick and they didn't act they'd assume all the liability. He acted like a clown making everyone de-board, and mouthing off about his private jet. Give me a break.
Not critical of them for trying to wake him up, But once he was awake he was clearly not a health risk. They could have went on with the flight and not put everyone through that.
Instead they were acting so dramatic..... All sassy and "I don't feel comfortable".

No one else takes off their pants when they fly? Come on man. That’s the way to do it.

I agree with that as well. Unfortunately , they tried in earnest(so they say), and he would not wake up; they were forced to turn the plane around and call for ems. At that point, you are behind schedule and utilizing outside resources. It then becomes an issue of why wouldn't he wake up in the first place. Was he simply sleeping very deeply, or is there another factor? I don't think it helped calm their concerns when he refused ems. They don't have any way of knowing that he is medically sound. If he is, then why didn't he wake up? They may have simply lacked patience and been upset for the delay he caused, or they may have felt he was intoxicated. One of the attendants did mention that. In the end I think they were both concerned he may not comply in the air, and upset for the distraction. So we get what we saw in the video.

1) The flight attendants were being jerks. Kicking him off the flight felt very unnecessary.

2) Odell was being a jerk after he was told he must exit the plane.

Both things can be true.

Do you know when he woke up? Because if they exited the taxiway already, which you must assume that, then no the can’t just get back in line. Questions need to be answered once that plane abandons it’s departure.

First Classless!

He knew exactly what he was doing and played the "star NFL football player" card.

The only reason he didn't respond to the flight attendants was that his thoughts were "who the hell are you" telling a person of my status to get up and fasten the seat belt.

That changed when the cops came in. He could've exited on his own, without others doing so, but no, not LBJ, whatever his name is.

I didn’t see this posted, apologies if it was.

The female flight attendant tried to lie, and say he wasn't wearing pants, because he didn't want to put on his seatbelt.

Thankfully, the Hispanic officer saw through her lies, and shut her down, and that could have snowballed into something way more serious.

The officers did a good job, by not using force here. I usually don't see them de-escalate. And they did a good job at that here.

Considering what OBJ said and how he acted this were completely justified in wanting him off the plane. Clearly the pilot agreed when he made the final call. With OBJ causing trouble before a 5 hour flight especially.

The flight crew made it something embarrassing for him. He isnt right but they may benefit from some sensitivity training.
I'm sure once fellow first class snobs started challenging him he held his position.

Just an unfortunate incident all around. Doesn't make me think he is a monster.
Well I do. That was despicable. Personally, I dont see a team signing him ever again after that video. That is about as gross a display by a rich snob as you will ever see,. The cops were calling him bro, apologizing he was having bad day... it was disgusting.

The flight crew escalated NOTHING. He wouldnt wake up. You can not fly if your blitzed drunk. I am surprised though as he didnt seem intoxicated to me as they kept stating. But in any event, when the people running the plane tell you to get off, you get off. The fact he made everyone else get off just because he was pissed tells you what kind of person he is, and is exactly why nobody is going to sign him.

When he signs, the media is going to play this tape over and over again for days.

You do understand the pilot was the one that had final say on OBJ being removed from the plane, yes? You either didnt watch the whole video, or you’re telling on yourself.
i know that that that’s what the attendant said, the pilot/captain wasn’t in the video or cabin and made his decision based on attendant input. what we saw from the video was her having multiple opportunities to de-escalate and choosing otherwise.

sounds good. once the authorities came and said he was fine she could have done her job by getting on with the flight. she chose otherwise
Most people would not put up with his stupid behavior either. He should have been arrested.

I doubt that she lied. I'm glad that he isn't a Cowboy.

heck if I was on the plane and was asked to get off because of this POS, it would not. I would have said he's the POS causing the problem, to throw his *** off the plane.

They had to take everybody off for their safety. After they did that, they should have arrested him.
