We need to steal a page from New England's playbook and employ Glenn or Price as nickel DB's late in the game during obvious passing situations. Just sub Terry for Aaron.

How can you say we NEED to do this when you have zero idea how good thoose guys would be?

Glenns PI call was iffy. He also made an incredible break up for what would of been a long gain. Hes not trash but he cant be on a teams 1 or 2 WR

NE did that bc they had several injuries

BRILLIANT!

I think NE did this because they had so few healthy CBs on the roster -- we've got one of the deepest groups in the league.

You can't try to be like NE -- their ability to plug guys in anywhere last year reflected what might have been the best and most unselfish team play ever seen in the NFL -- they certainly didn't win because they had the most talent.

Glenn was burned twice in the Skins game and had the big penalty yesterday. How much worse could Terry be? Terry is fast, knows receivers' tendencies, and can get his hands on the ball. If Troy Brown can do it, why not Terry? I'm not asking him to lock up on Moss or other premiere wideouts.

Can we change the title of this thread to "Stupid Move?"

Considering that opponents are 4-for-13 for 44 yards throwing at Aaron Glenn during the past five games, I'd say Terry could be much worse.

And three of those four completions contributed to devastating losses. I win.

Troy Brown was employed as a defensive back in very limited schemes because of a depleted secondary. He was never but never used in deep coverage. He is also a tough cookie.

The Pats secondary is once again in deep injury doo-doo, but far as I know Mumbles isn't drinking from that well again.

Even if our secondary was depleted, Terry and Peerless hardly appear to be defensive back material.

The notion either could do better than Aaron Glenn is preposterous.

Lets also wear down/injure 1 of our 3 WR's on a whim he may be able to do it better than a guy thats been doing it for 15 years and has been to pro bowls

And you know this how? They're short, but so is Troy Brown.

Baloney. It just hasn't been tried yet. If Deion can play a handful of snaps on offense, no reason why Glenn or Price can't do the opposite.

Troy Brown was no longer a go-to receiver on offense, which made him, i dont want to say expendable, but serviceable as a DB. Terry Glenn can not play 90% of offensive plays and some on defense too.

..........WHAT?!?!?!?

Julius is a good runner, like Bo JAckson, I bet Julius could play in the NBA, b/c Bo jackson did the opposite and went to the MLB

Troy Brown is built like a compact tank. He can tackle fairly decently too.
He may have done some specials duty under Tuna years back that was not just returns. I don't recall.

What do you think Terry and Peerless' tackling skills are?

By the time you got these guys up to speed, they'd be ready to retire.

Because the rare talent of Deion could do double duty, Glenn and Price can too?

Deion played baseball too.

Does that mean T and P have an MLB future?

Preposterous!

None of them contributed to a loss. Those five games are since the Commanders game. And Aaron Glenn didn't allow a completion yesterday, he just had the pass interference. Put Terry Glenn out there, and we might be 1-6.

That would be a great idea. It's not like Glenn has a history of getting injured when he plays solely on offense or anything.......sheesh. I hit the bottle hard after yesterday's debacle too, but not that hard.

I see. So you deliberately excluded the Skins game to make Glenn appear better. You're a bum.

I didn't exclude anything. I plainly said, "in the past five games." Other than the penalty yesterday, Aaron Glenn has played great since the Commanders game. There's no reason to replace him with an offensive player, of all people.

I can't believe you're allowing yourself to get dragged into this train-wreck of a thread.

Just let it die.
