Whether or not we could do anything in a trade, I think WE must make the call to determine what the deal is, Boldin is an extremely talented WR that could be a great fit, if the price is right. Austin and Hurd, even Crayton are no match, and regardless of the RW deallast year, if a 2nd (#51) is the cost plus a player, we would have to think about it!!! I would bet they want a players such as one of the Cowboys young RB's or CB's!!

Hopefully the Cards want to keep him out the NFC...

Good point and I think you are right. I feel a little better now.
Like I said earlier--Titans or Jags should pounce on this.

What are Boldin's contract demands?

4yr 40 mil at least. He has repeated that he wants Larry's contract. Keep in mind he's 29 years old has a history of missing 4-5 games a year.

no way would i give him that, he just came off an injury; it has also has to be a reason now that the cardinals are wlling to dumb him for a lower draft pick too, remember reports are he has a hip problem, plus he is 29.

He doesnt have the greasted speed in the world either, so in 3 years he will probably be done, and he wants 10 million a year, no way

forget trading for him;

Exactly, how do we fit him in and get Ware done? I would hate to give up Choice as well. He could not be part of the deal, it would have to be someone who saved us cap room. Ellis.

I just don't see it happening. Eagles within 48 hours is my bet.

This is why a guy like Boldin is much more attractive to a team that has no #1 WR (Tenn, Jax, Bal, NYG, SF, Minn, etc, etc). We have Witten and RW plus some extras, so the added value to us would be good but nothing like it would be for those many teams without our weapons.

I'd LOVE to have Boldin, but if we could land 1-2 promising WRs in the draft and run with what we have, I think we can get to where we want to go.

I see the Giants, Baltimore, or Titans landing him if it can be done for a 2nd and a player.

Baltimore should do it.

I'm going to get flamed, but here it goes anyway...

#51 and Choice.

Cards get a RB and gain more options for their first round pick.

I wonder about Boldin. Injuries, salary demands... and he has never been The Man.

It must be alot easier to line up opposite from Fitzgerald who is the main target for Defenses.

The Eagles are nuts if they aren't all over this. They have a ton of cap space, a ton of draft picks, an aging QB who doesn't have much window left, and a desperate need for a quality WR.

I disagree about The Man thing. He was the only target in Arizona for a year or two before Fitz got there and he still put up numbers.

god if this happens, we were really fleeced on Roy Williams

I agree. We used a 1st, 3rd, and 5th for a receiver who most can agree is inferior to Anquan Boldin. Or at the very least, they are of equal value. They may have different talents. But if you start ranking the receivers in the league, they wouldnt be far apart.
