The Eagles FO gets called cheap and unfair. Guess what? They're actually smart.

Uhhh, you mis-spelled CHEAP...

They find out the season after season, the Eagles remain contenders, and they're not going away.

And they will never be anything but contenders... most of the rest of the league is looking to be CHAMPIONS...

Then again, that's the most that Iggles fans deserve...

Yet again, the Eagles attempt to be 'the smartest guys in the room' and end up outsmarting themselves.

A good deal isn't good enough for them.

Unless they feel they've totally fleeced the other team, they don't make a deal.

Even when it's smarter to make a reasonable deal that works for both sides.

That's why they didn't get Tony Gonzalez when that was the smart move and why they won't get Boldin now.

It stands to reason that a team representing the City of "Brotherly Love" would only like a deal where their partner takes it up the... well, you know...

The guy isn't a game changer anymore. He's old and past his prime, get over it.

LOL... in his last 32 games, this "past his prime" player has 195 catches for 2230 yards and 15 TDs... this while being just about the ONLY receiving threat on the Chefs...

I'm looking for him to have a real good season for the Falcons, and another one or two or three after that... in fact, I'll make a friendly wager with you right now, that Tony will have more receptions and more TDs this year than all of the Iggles' TEs combined...

And all the Falcons paid was a 2nd round pick... the Iggles could have offered pick 53 versus Atlanta's pick 55, but we're back to them being cheap again...

With their approach they're not gonna see 6-10 any time soon, but in order to win it all, sometimes you gotta roll the dice, and they refuse to do that...

Not trading for Tony Gonzalez when the price tag was their 2nd round pick was IDIOTIC, and further proof that the team is too freakin' cheap to pay the price you need to pay in order to hoist a Lombardi Trophy...

Yes, Celek is the answer at TE. He's young and an upgrade over LJ Smith.

But getting a TE isn't going to make any team that much more of a contender. TE is the least important position on offense.

This just proves how dumb Philly fans are.
