TE isn't a position that the Eagles are in deperate need of.

Please. You don't have a TE. Celek had one flash in the pan, against a poor Cards D, and now the Eagles fans are going to act like he's a stud.

Yes, Celek is the answer at TE. He's young and an upgrade over LJ Smith.

But getting a TE isn't going to make any team that much more of a contender. TE is the least important position on offense.

Fullback. You can get by a lot easier with a mediocre fullback than you can a piss poor or mediocre TE.

I'd even say that the #2 WR is less important than the TE and the slot receiver.

But then again I'm maybe bias. We've got one of the best TE's in football, had one of the best in our glory days of the 90's, and you probably don't care about them because I can't even remember the last TE you had that was even good, let alone great, since probably Keith Jackson.
