I think its safe to say Bollnger isnt playing unless Johnson gets hurt. Whatever they are seeing in practice from him must not be very good, because Johnson is playing awful and they apparently have no desire to play Bollinger at all.

Isn't it time we should get Bollinger ready to play. Anytime we have more than 8 yards to go on 3rd down, he dumps it off or throw it short. BJ does not have the are to throw it long.

The Bucs have the ninth defense in the NFL. No interceptions and no fumbles. He didn't have Witten or felix jones to help either.

Agreed...that or his limited knowledge of the playbook.

BJ is horrible BUT I don't think alot of you guys have seen Brooks Bolinger actually play. He's like Brad Johnson LITE. He's brutal too. Suck it up, try to get by the gspots and get romo back in two weeks: that's the gig right now.

Compounding their previous mistake in not trying harder to upgrade the backup quarterback position.

I would think that Bollinger would know the playbook by now, at least enough to run a conservative gameplan. Hell, even if he didn't know a single play in the book, he's gotta be an upgrade to BJ.

Understand, but it let's look at who we DID have that he couldn't get it to...
TO
RW
Crayton
Bennett
Austin
Curtis
MBIII Actually he was the only one that was in his range today....

Point is even without Whitten we should have plenty of playmakers. Maybe it was Garrett not calling for some crossing routs...I am not smart enought to know, but we have PLENTY of players capable of making plays.

I only recall seeing Bollinger in the pre-season game against us. He looked awful. I hope it was just the 3rd string guys that he was playing with, but he looked lost. It didn't give me a warm fuzzy feeling when we signed him.

Bollinger, Matt Moore and Richard Bartel all have better arms than Johnson.

But Johnson keeps his job ... hm

Johnson's passes keep getting tipped by the DL. He's lucky to escape with as few ints as he does ... (I wonder how many passing plays are dependent on blocking in passing lanes, so that QBs can see down the field ...) Brad's passes continually being tipped ... that stuff catches up with you ...

As Stephen Jones said on some Cowboys TV show back in the spring, the Boys tried to maneuver Day 2 in the draft to get Josh Booty, who coincidentally later beat out Bollinger in the preseason for the Vikings. (Booty is No. 3 behind Tavaris Jackson nowadays ...)

Minny picked Booty in the fifth round a few picks before the Cowboys, and the Boys got Scandrick as a booby/(booty prize. :) ... I wonder if Booty would be No. 2 behind Romo at this point ...

Brad has got to go!!! I couldn't keep count on how many times TO was open down field on 3rd and long, and Brad does some stupid 5yd checkdown to Barber. Let Bollinger play, at least he can get it down field, and he is deffinetly more mobile!!

I never in my life would have ever thought these words would come out of my mouth as a Cowboys fan, but.........We got NO SHOT to beat the Giants next week unless Bollinger starts. Johnson simply can't get the ball to WR's.......and how about running some crossing routs occasionally to get freakin' TO or Crayton open?

I'm gonna say it too..if the Giants score more than 14, maybe 16 points next week..it's game over. There's NO FREAKING way Brad leads this offense to more than 20 points. :banghead:

Oh, people around here said Brad would do A LOT better with our first stringers and our starting O-line...

I guess you havent noticed, but that first team OL is playing about as bad, if not worse than Johnson is

OL did a lot better this week, you gotta admit that much. Even when the O-line did hold up, Brad was very inaccurate. First stringers or not, it's obvious he's a bad QB. His best days are behind him.

I agree, and the most disapointing thing for me is he has always relied on being incredibly accurite. He missed open players all day man.
