There's a guy that works with me at work who has been betting against the Cowboys all season yet claims to be a Cowboy fan. I doubt his validity as a fan sometimes. I bet him a combo meal at Burger King that we would make the playoffs back when we had Brad Johnson at QB. I know that's not much but that's a typical bet between people where I work.

Ok, long time reader, I think this might be my FIRST thread. SO here goes.

Every week we've endured the Book It (not the pizza prize the kids do in school) or the 3 inch headlines or the on record or the guarantees. But NOTHING is ever put up. Anyone can do that. What I want to see is, those who TRULY feel without a shadow of a doubt we will win, put up!

We win or ..... I'll donate money to the Zone..... donate money to an organization .... Send money to DJ Majestik (ok, I tried).

Seriously, go on record and put up if you're wrong.

And for the record, I have NEVER booked it but twice in my entire life. Once, when my ex-wife was pregnant I guaranteed we'd have a child. Lo and behold...... The other was my second marriage (wrong on that one)!

So let's hear it. Let's see what you're made of.

Agreed. But not everyone does. I am just trying to define those people that absolutely, unequivocally, without hesitation believe 100% that we will win this weekend. I do not share THAT much optimism.

And I am trying to define what that guarantee truly means to them. If you've donated, throw some extra cash there way. I for one know server space and time spent coding isn't cheap. Or donate to a charity. We already have ONE person on board.

So to me it's a win win. Either the board/charity/etc. gets more much needed cash OR we win and we are in the playoffs!

My favorite Cowboy bet of all time was when my buddy bet our Steeler fan buddy, that Dallas would get to 5 Super Bowl wins before the Steelers, ... and it was in the early 90's when Dallas had 2 and the Steelers had 4.

You know how that turned out !!

We won 3 out of the next 4, ... what an awesome bet !!

Didn't need to open the thread. Didn't need to post in it either. You chose to. And where in ANY POST IN HERE did it say proving your manhood.

I am simply doing TWO things (which you would have seen if you would have read all the posts).

1. Defining THOSE on here that guarantee a victory.
2. Defining what that guarantee means to them in a monetary value.

I am sorry you don't like the thread, but if you're not into KFC's culinary cuisine, go to a diner? You don't show up at KFC and complain to them that you did not get fresh chicken. You just don't go there. Same with this thread.

And one poster agreed to give up $25 to a charity of HIS choice. This in no way will break the bank, and it is for a good cause. If this gets even $100 spent to a good cause or $50 spent for in forum dollars, than that is a win right?

So you choose. If you don't want to guarantee. Don't. What was the point of your post again?

Oh, and as an aside, not even getting into the spelling of Kentucky, but how does inconsistency at all allude to getting fresh chicken at KFC??? Just curious.

Look for my post next week after we get our tails kicked..If we win I will be the post to say, "GUESS WHAT I WAS WRONG". this team hasnt shown enough to place a bet. Man this team is so not together you see what we are come each december..Jerry Jones has screwed this up for the past 13 yrs thinking he dont need a coach..I dont think I will be wrong because Im not looking at the Cowboys hoping Im looking and being honest..
