...for what its worth, and its probably not much, I'm a big fan of picking these guys up. I don't have any qualms with adding depth, picking up starters, or demoting current starters. I just don't want to keep spending for overpriced vets on the line.

WE took two huge OT's who can really run...5.08 and 5.19...that's moving for guys who are 315 and 320. Unless you take the top 1-2 OG's in the country, you are always better off taking these OT's. Most OT's in college can easily move to OG if they don't win a spot at OT...Think about guys like Gogan.

sorry - i just dove into the middle this am and am working my way out.

marten should be a heck of a player from all reports so far. sure, he's got to "do it" now, but so do all picks. if mcq is gonna be a player for us, it won't matter who we draft where - he'll pick up his game. if not, he and petitti can sell insurance somewhere and tell people parcells was so sure they'd succeed.
