On another note, I remember Eisen saying something to Faulk about him returning back to football during the Pro Bowl coverage. Did anyone else catch that or was I in la-la land ?

Irvin is "different". Some of us appreciate that difference. It's much better than getting up to watch football on a Sunday morning and being bored to death with 2 hours of cookie cutter reporting.
