guys be real, irvin is a terrible sports caster. he's the second biggest homer behind jaws. all irvin talks about is wrs, qbs, rbs, and of course the cowboys

Sorry but I DISAGREE, I think Irvin is great. I like his style and I really like the fact that he's a HOMER.. He doesn't hide his true colors, BLUE and SILVER...

Irvin broadcasted like he played! Strong!

It's BSPN's loss, not #88's...

;)

"What's that? Playoffs? Don't talk about-- playoffs? You kidding me? Playoffs?"

Sorry. Couldn't resist. :p:

So.... that means that Mora only works up until December LOL

Irvin is "different". Some of us appreciate that difference. It's much better than getting up to watch football on a Sunday morning and being bored to death with 2 hours of cookie cutter reporting.

I agree. I think the best shows are the ones that have a good mixture - the ones that have the serious X's and O's guys and the ones that liven the show up a bit are the ones I like. I like to get information, but I also like to be entertained a bit too.

Agreed.

I think Irvin brings a playfullness that is ok... I like it... i wish he would have said something to Steve on air about the SB Steve won... "Steve... now you know... you really owe me(dallas cowboys) for your one SB... we TOOK the other ones from you" hehehe

I really think the NFLN's found themselves a niche in offering things that can't be found elsewhere. Loudmouth clowns that appeal to teenagers and the terminally stupid can be found anywhere on the dial. I pray they say no to Irvin, the morons can watch wrestling and reality TV, leave something for the rest of us.

Actually Bryant Gumbel can be found every Thanksgiving Day emceeing his true favorite event... The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. That's where he belongs.. speaking softly and complimenting those floats.

Nail-o-rama! I agree and think Irvin will fit well with NFLN. That network is the offseason methadone. NO baseball, NO basketball, NO hockey, NO bowling, etc. All football, all the time. Great show, IMO.
