I guess you’ve never been outside the US. There’s numerous examples of companies that don’t sacrifice any of the 4. Go visit Japan for example. It’s corporate greed the reason a company would sacrifice any of the 4.Unlike some companies, their name means something to them and their pride shows in how they handle a situation with a dissatisfied customer.
Every company must select one of these to be the what leads them, quality, price, convenience or service but no company can select all four for something must be sacrificed and for Bose, it is price. However, even a company not based on price must use that sometimes.
You would think Bezos would understand this better than anyone but after he bought Whole Foods, he dropped some prices and actually mentioned the name Walmart. He completely misunderstand the Whole Foods customer so once he realized his mistake, the prices went back up and he announces a whole new grocery store concept to compete with the Aldi and Walmart. And Whole Foods will remain about quality, not price.
I shop at both, Whole Foods and Walmart. I get my tree hugger and earth muffin fix at WF but then I must witness Walmart People up close and personal for my return to Earth and the real life.
The difference is that Seger has always said if he feels like his voice isn't cutting anymore, he's calling it quits. He's giving up tours because he doesn't want to deliver an inferior product. I respect the Hell out of him for that.A nice stereo is important to me. I am such a big music fan. I have been to 250 concerts or more. I have been patiently waiting out Bob Seger, he is on his farewell tour and he is playing DTE outside Detroit, all tickets for the 1st 4 shows sold out in the pre-sale. He added a 5th and 6th show and said: "these are his last 2 shows ever"...I will join Fanclub and hope I score tickets.
Of course Kiss has said that about 5 times...
