They have the 1st.

Say The Big 3 wins another 2-3 would they be considered a Dynasty? If they can do that they are at Par or > 80's Celtics - jmo.

Garnett and Pierce have at least another 3-4 years left and Ray Allen is so cagy and a pure shooter that I can see him still playinh well a few more years.

With 22 year old Point guard Rajon Rondo emerging into an All Star this team could make a run.

Rondo has A LOT of work to do before he becomes an all-star. He first needs to learn how to shoot from the outside, which he sucks at.

And in no way will they win 2-3 more, maybe one. Lakers are too young and Celtics will become too old. Remember, Lakers were without Bynum.

Your dreamin..

i dont think the current celtics team is gonna win 2 or 3 more, but i didnt think they would win even one so i could be wrong. if the spurs can get maggette and stay healthy i think we can beat anyone, including bynum and the lakers

Unless they start off as one of the hottest teams next year ...... Nors will not be a "fan" again anyway.

As much as I dislike Boston I will have to root for the Celtics if for no other reason to watch some posters grind their teeth and get ulcers.

Doubters past year of Celtics here were proved wrong. There is a lil doubt now in their swagger that West > East AT A Championship level.

very true, but he is a point guard and he isnt very effective at running an offense yet, but he will probably get there eventually

Dynasty? LMAO. You guys have been the Clippers of the East the last 20 years. You win one title and now you guys are poised for a dynasty run? Give it a rest. The only reason you won the title this year is because you have one ex-celtic helping out another, and the fact you had about 10 years of high lottery picks to trade for players.

Consider yourself lucky to win one. If Andrew Bynum doesn't get hurt, there is a good chance you don't win it this year. Nothing cracks me up like Spurs and Celtics homers burring their head in the sand pretending he doesn't exsist when his name is brought up.

I wasn't specifically talking about Spurs fans here or the lone Celtic fan on this board.

When he got hurt he was the 3rd best center in the legaue. You will see when he is in the all star game next year. No, he is not going to be a super star, but he will be an all star. Considering that there are only 2 good centers in the entire NBA, him playing at a all star level will make a HUGE difference next year.

Rondo may not be a from 3 range shooter but he improved greatly this year when left open. Heck he shot .492 from the field to place #11 in NBA for guards. To put that in perspective -

D Williams - .507
Parker - .494
RONDO - .492
Paul - .488
Kobe - .458

Kid is 22 and probably best PG in steals and rebounding going. Future All Star!

seriously other than spam - what substance have you brought to the NBA discussions here? NADA

I brought the talk pre season and walked the walk all season long. I respect the West posters that brought some talk all season long and it was good banter, Win some lose some.

Your posts never anything more than mean spirited and personally hawking me. I feel sad for you.

Bull

You have been a member of this forum for 4 years ..... never once mentioned the Celtics till they traded for a bunch of stars.

You tried to gloat about your new "favorite team" just like you did about the Pats.

I congratulated the real Celtics fans ..... they deserved the championship.

You are not one.

parker's shooting percentage took a hit last year, it seemed like a lot of shots that he normally makes didnt go in, hopefully that will change next year and he can bring that shooting percentage back up above 50%

1. The Raptors are never going to do anything big just because they are in Toronto, you guys are forgetting Stern is running the show.
2. If they pick up Maggette, the Celtics suddenly become much more athletic, stronger, and younger.
3. As far as Rondo's shot goes, or lack there of--Tony Parker didn't have a jumper and it took a couple years to develop that skill, so I wouldn't worry too much about Rondo especially when he has 3 allstars to make him look good.
4. As long as Boston keeps winning, they are going to continue to pick up solid vets for the cheap ala House, PJ Brown, and Posey this year. If that is the case, winning a couple more championships is not out of the question IMHO.

Go Mavericks=]
