If I were Tampa Bay, I would take away the running game of the Cowboys and force Dak to throw. Given his penchant for throwing interceptions in bad spots this year, the more he throws the better chance the other team has to win.

After last week,, I have to believe Dak will be a little tentative. I can see him taking a few sacks Monday night.
weve had no run game for 3 straight games now, whats new , daks not the issues with that max Tampa 2 coverage , lets hope the OL can pass protect, open holes, not get penalized often, and for sure can the WERs get open and catch the balls they are supposed too? TEAM game.. team been off for a few weeks now.

Mostly Moore needs to make sure they have a lot of quick underneath routes, use Rbs on screens and wheel routes, get a lot of motion to get those quick routes off etc etc

acting as if Daks easy to fluster, hes not , actual good against the blitz. issue is the OL isnt holding up long enough to where dak can even follow through with pass or step up or our of the pocket before hes hit etc.

I look forward to many TE screens for 2-3 yard gains.

..drop short passes to TP and Zeke. THere, I fixed it. ..;)...
The problem is short precise passes are not Dak’s forte, did you see the ball he delivered to zeke’s helmet on the side against Washington, somehow Zeke managed to catch it ( & it was a forward pass) , for a second it looked like a lateral and if zeke had dropped would be definitely turnover.

Dak has fared very well vs the Blitz.

The Bucs and Bowles will absolutely not be stupid enough to try and blitz Dak.. They know better. They tried it in last season's opener and got strafed. This year they laid back and played coverage and fared much better. The bottom line is Dak is too good against the blitz so nobody is going to do it. One thing I will say is that if the line stays in its shuffled state blitzers may be more of a problem than usual.

Fixed. Please for the love of god, play Davis. Quit trying to make Zeke happen outside of the red zone. Davis has the speed and vision to make plays.

Hopefully Zeke takes off the knee brace and gets back to where he was before he got his knee banged against Detroit. He was having a pretty good year up to that point.. But that's the thing with running backs.. They take hits and sometimes those hits do damage.. especially if they take them on the legs. Zeke certainly has gotten progressively slower over these last 4-5 games.. I don't know if he's wearing down or the knee is giving him trouble .. I know the two Thursday night games absolutely killed whatever explosiveness he had left. That turnaround was tough enough one time.. I think having to do it twice got him. Hopefully the extra day of rest and the light load against Washington all mixed with removing the brace gets him back closer to normal cause I think we're going to need his inside presence against Tampa to pair with Pollard hitting them on the edges. I don't think one works without the other against a defense like theirs.

..well, it sure didn't help, having no where to run. Since Steele went down, the run game has suffered.

Yeah I wasn't expecting much against Washington to begin with the way our line has been playing but damn.. I didn't think they would get whupped that bad.. And it's been that way for a while. I still think there are flaws in our run blocking schemes that are causing some of this though. I hate the amount of plays where we don't block the backside defenders at all and I don't think we ask our guys to drive block enough. Way too much stand up and slide step for my liking. That scheme counts on the defense to flow too far and over pursue thus creating a nice cutback lane for the back. But if you have not blocked the back side the back is cutting back into the that defender you left unblocked. It makes no sense to me frankly.. yet we keep running it.

....That would be make sense right? Since he was Tampa DC for 3 yrs.

I've seen maybe 3-4 Tampa games this year. The Defense was blitzen almost every play.

Either its corner, or stunts from LB's, or delay's.

So this could work in our favor, if RIGHT plays are called.
Actually, I hope they blitz every play. Dak is much better vs the blitz than most QBs, and I much prefer the hot reads with our receivers than dropping everyone in coverage and hoping our knuckleheads can get open and that Dak doesn’t get frustrated and force a throw.

Bowles wasn't even on the 2019 Jets team. People on this site will say any random thing. but this post is an obvious fail lol
Sir I would ask that in the future you please refrain from interjecting any of your pesky facts into a perfectly good narrative. That sort of thing has no place here on the internet!!

All he had to do was go to Wiki.com/2019_Jets_Football if he didn't remember that game and the personnel on the field.

I was gonna say the same thing. The Giants blitzed Dak a lot, he beat it pretty well. Especially on 3rd and long. You need really good defensive players to have a lot of success with the blitz. I don't know if Tampa has that.

Maybe I'm wrong, but blitzing almost every play seems a touch of a stretch.

I don't know anymore but Dak used to be very good against the blitz.
