Yes, I agree. Especially with kids. They are extremely playful, yet docile even towards the most unruly kids. I never have to worry about her becoming aggressive. Just got to keep her nails clipped so she doesn't scratch anyone as my son can get rambunctious with her!

The pool is always loaded with dog hair too. She swims every damn day that the pool is open. It doesn't matter if it's 95 degrees of 45 degrees. She will swim!
