A Cowboys win over the Eagles tomorrow night will almost make me forget, for a day or two, that the Rangers choke even happened. I agree with the OP.

Yep I like our chances. The addition of Rudy should help to. Just more depth to roll with. We gotta lock up Tyson though it'll be interesting to see how the salary cap structure changes...

Not to mention we have Caron coming back and Roddy B will be healthy at the beginning of the season.

I agree... The Mavs figured it out last season, if the team stays relatively intact, they'll be real contenders again...

However, there are a few potential problems... Tyson is a FA, but I'm sure they'll lock him up... But JJ is also a FA, I'm not sure if they can afford to keep him and Chandler... Kidd said he probably wouldn't play again if there was a lockout... Now he might come back if they can salvage the better part of this season, and the Mavs better hope he does, because it's pretty much impossible to replace one of the Top 5 PG's of All-Time... As awesome as Dirk was/is, it took big contributions from every single player on that team for them to get it done... GO MAVS!

Sorry to aid in the hijacking of this thread with Mavs talk, but damn I LOVE that team!
