This is the worst time to post this nonsense. How far are we from that league? That was a league where guys got drunk the night before the games and didn't work out. Fail.

History is meaningful but right now we are getting it shoved horribly down our throats what a true dynasty looks like. I hate it.

There is nothing wrong with wanting your team to win championships. And there is nothing wrong with acknowledging history. You can do both without diminishing either.

Good thread and post.
OK. Gonna put some perspective on history.

The ONLY team to win a Superbowl with stars on their helmets. Only team with a Bob Lily as a DLineman or Staubach as a QB.

All pretty hollow, kinda like a 20+ year drought without a SB.

Now THAT'S history. Wrong side of history but still.........It's history.

That was a different era. OL couldn't hold, WRs got mugged, there were 2 roughing the passer calls league wide all season, etc.

Count me as being sick and tired of hearing about all these Cowboy playoff records when they were in a whole different era and generation. Yeah, it is amazing and incredible how we have let 22 years go by and we are still there close to the top. The league has caught up and overtaken the Cowboys after this long dry spell....... But it just goes to show you how pitiful it has been in this era so far.

Hopefully, they are on their way back, but you got to at least win the first one before you start any crazy talk. At least we have a HOF NFL contributor and Coach of the Year on our side. That and a couple of bucks will get you a cup of coffee.

Landry 'only' won two SBs and lost three. He also had us in it for 20 years going to 10 CC games in 13 years. He had some great players including Staubach who IMO is the GOAT not Brady. Won't argue with you though. They almost ran Landry out of town before he started getting successful. Different times, too. So I'd go easy on Garrett for now and see what happens.

Bilichick is great, too. See what happens when Brady is gone though; assuming he doesn't find another wonderboy.

I think it's the opposite. I think Belichek can keep on with a decent QB. Brady is good but not the greatest and not the sole reason they win. Without Belichek I bet Brady is lucky to hit 10 wins most seasons

I partially agree. No one wins without players though and QB is the start. GB is below avg without AR. NE won't be in 7 st8 CC games without Brady.
