Ever heard of John Holmes? They shared the same "affliction."

Not sure if that can truly be construed as an affliction.

Dude, that is one sick puppy.

When people said he was an animal, I thought they just meant his athletic skills.
I bet if they put him behind bars he'd through dung at the visitors.

The thing that really stands out to me about these latest revolations is that Jerry signed him. I mean, no question, he was a very talented player but you gotta think long and hard about a guy who is going to do the kinds of things Haley did, on your football team. Makes you wonder just how far Jerry might go to sign a player that he thought might win a championship for you.

I remember at the time, vaguely, that it WAS a big deal signing him...That there was a big concern about what he would do...But considering the lot he was coming into, he probably fell right at home, eh?

All I can remember, the guy was a terror on the field...Then again, maybe all this new revelatory info explains the chronic back problem he had...Too much weight out front? :laugh2:

Anyone hear about this new book from Pearlman (Man who 'outed' Rocker and did a book on Bonds as well)?

Some talk has already begun regarding a chapter known as 'The last naked Warrior' starring none other than one Charles Haley.

Without going into too much detail, it is sure to get a lot of questions...But the gist of it involves Haley nude in team meetings and doing things typically men do by themselves while talking about other player's wives...And like the HOF he was, he played until the final whistle if you catch my drift.

Apparently, it started even back in his Niner days as former players said he had the Milton Berle 'problem'

Anyone catch any of this?

Crazy

We'll have another million posts in this forum and Charles Haley will not be compared to Milton Berle in a relevant post again.

'Played until the final whistle' = funny. Let's hope the first whistle was the final whistle, anyway.

I think the hilarious(in a sad way)thing was that Larry Lacewell has admitted when the 49ers called him about Haley that he had no idea who he was and left the proposal on his desk for a few days. Than happened to mention it to Jerry finally and that Jerry ran to his desk.

Seriously?...Wow

~ Trying to remember if Jerry ever talked about how good Charles looked in the shower ~

Hey, brother. You're clever. :laugh2:

I kind of carry on like Haley at home.

It probably amuses my wife even less than it did Joe Montana.

Me and Haley think it's hilarious, though.

Montana was in a skit on Saturday Night Live where he played the part of a guy who engaged in this activity.

"That's what she said."

I had heard Haley was a jerk. Off the top of my head I can't think of anything more disgustingly funny then this though.

I usually can't stand sports books because they're so self congratulatory and sugarcoated, but I can't wait until this book comes out. Pearlman interviewed 146 former players in researching the book. It's going to be a page turner.

Joe Montana's been to your house?
