I truly believe Big Bill will be back next year. You just don't quit coaching the Dallas Cowboys, unless you have alread won 2 SB in Dallas.

I think what Bill is trying to decide about is asst. coaches.ie. SP, Zimm.

With so many coaches being fired. The field for asst. coaches has increased.

Dom Capers at Defensive Coordinator
Norv Turner at Offensive Coordinator

That would be pretty nice.

I hope BP fires the right ones-not just pull a few out of his hate and fire random ones just to save his own skin(i.e. the ones Larry Coker fired in Miami seemed to justify saving his own teeth).

Yeah-my hunch tells me Zimmer and Payton are gone.

Cocker signed a long extension a few weeks ago so I don't think those firings at the U where to save his own teeth as you put it.

Your hunch based on what? Pig entrails.

Zimmer learnd a new system and we had a defensive resurgence.

Payton was allowed to call plays and never had that yanked.

Im guessing your hunch is based on all the yahoos around the boards which is about as useful as pig entrails.

I could possibly see Capers, but not Norv. I think he likes the youth and controlability he has over Payton.

Payton will probably get a HC if not we cannot let him go. Zimmers only downfall is that this is not his style of defense he may be the one out the door. But Payton needs to be kept he is a very good coach.

I agree. I honestly think thats what he and JJ will have to hammer out before Parcells publicly says hes returning. Jones is still the GM. I also think thats why Jones said it would only take fifteen minutes for him and Parcells to negotiate. I dont see Parcells holding out for more cash.

None of our coordinators will be replaced.

The only coach that I absolutely think HAS to be replaced is Sparano. We need a REAL OL coach.

You got the feeling from JJ that he'd like a decision from BP soon. You get the feeling from BP he'll be taking his time deciding.

The problem is the longer BP waits the fewer available coaches will be out there in the event BP wants to make staff changes or if, shudder, BP decides to retire. I hope BP signs a 2 year extension this week.

We need a specials teams coach more than anything right now.

Payton seriously needs to review his playcalling in the redzone... The Seattle game had horrid play-calling. Three straight runs after a turnover at the ten yard line is just ignorant... Time and time again I was baffled at the lack of play action pass when we really needed it... Jason Witten would probably agree, especially since we were first in the # of offensive plays and TOP...

Jerry might need to ask advice from that Detroit Pistons owners.

B/c he was able to put the fire out early when Larry Brown was trying to leave everyone hang, he was able to get a very fine coach(Flip Saunders) just in time-now look at the dream season they're having now.

Yeah-I agree with you.

Why Thompson has solidified himself as a good kick returner. Our return teams looked pretty good.

Our kickers were lame but I cant see how you ignore everything else that DeHaven did.

What was wrong with our special teams this year, besides having a sorry kicker?

So if I were to play QB for the cowboys (it would be ugly) and performed poorly, then we'd need a new QB coach?

Doesnt matter.

He fired Assistant Coaches last year and we still got the same end result.

Home for the Playoffs...literally...

If BP stays dont be suprised if SP and Zimm stay.

Mas-ter! Mas-ter!... Master of puppets I am pulling your strings!
