Well he pulled the plug on it.

Let me rephrase.

BLEDSOE ENDED HIS CAREER OVER THE LAST 10 OR SO GAMES. BP HAD TO PLAY THE ROLE OF GRIM REAPER TONIGHT

Parcells is done because he had to put down his dog.

It's OK Bill, you had to do it, at least before it was too late

Did I hear Parcells right? Did he say that Bledsoe's INT was designed to the other side of the field and he wasn't sure why he threw it to Glenn? Or was that comment not about Bledsoe?

yes, he said the play was designed to go to the other side of the field. That is where Drew's read was supposed to be and that Drew "should not have thrown the ball to Glenn's side of the field".

I disagree. Parcells might not have been happy about having to bench Drew, but it's not his primary concern. He's more worried right now that the new puppy is a flop and that he's miscalculated this team badly enough to question his own ability to coach anymore.

How do you know he is a flop already?

No, I think it is because Bledsoe has failed him. I dont think he thought Bledsoe would be so bad.

Bledsoe was supposed to be a given, you know, a guy who will win 10-12 games for us this year. The defense was supposed to be better, but can you blame them.

In Romo's defense, the team looked energized with him. With Bledsoe, there was no confidence. It looks like everyone has given up on him.

If Romo shows enough flash, I think Parcells might be back for 1 more go at it. Otherwise, he will feel the reprocussions of refusing to go after a legit QB...gambling instead that he could rekindle his magic with Bledsoe.

So in that repsect, I think it had everything to do with Bledsoe.

Regarding Romo, I just think about Brady....but with all that hope, I also remember what the odds are that you find another Tom Brady.

I'm not saying he's a flop. But I think Parcells never expected Romo to gift-wrap two INTs to the defense the way he did. Not after four years of Parcells' trust and training.

Guess I'm going to do what BP, Drew and company are doing, where is my vodka.........

If we lose next week, well, I don't know what that press conference would be like.

That play was a common Red Zone play. The coverage and the play was on the long side (right side) of the field. The play should have been to that side. That's why you saw TO complaining after the interception.

You NEVER throw to the short side of the has like that. The throw was made in such a way that only McQuarters could catch that ball.

That interception was a momentum killer.

What amazed me was that after all those years in the AFC facing Miami, Bledsoe still had no respect for Madison.

It's not like he hasn't thrown that exact same pick to Sam before.

I have never seen Parcells so down as I have after that PC. I think this will be the last season for him here in Big D unless we do a complete turnaround for the rest of the season IMO.

The guy literally can't blink twice in a row without someone reading something like this out of it.

How about this; He just got done having to hurt one of the people he cared most for in this world? Give the guy a break, he still hadn't cleaned the blood off the knife he just got done pulling out of Drew's back. Then to make things worse, for the entire 2nd half Drew stood there like a statue showing the whole world how much he hurt inside. This was probably one of the hardest games he's ever had to coach.

B. I was literally stunned when I watched that... it was like "deja-vu" all over again. ;)

I've been very vocal about my dislike for the job Parcells has done here...but I have to say, I actually felt bad for him in that press conference.

I've never seen him so discouraged.

I didn't feel bad at all. This is his own doing.

Did you see the little montage of him during the pregame? I realize that pieces could have been picked out to give a desired outlook but did you notice how upbeat and even somewhat friendly he seemed during the various Giants clips and how dour and bitter he seemed during the Cowboys clips.

That was disappointing indeed. Maybe the game has passed Drew by but man I feel uneasy with Romo at the helm. I hope he proves me wrong.

I think one of the main reason's BP is down is because he knows it's over for Bledsoe...he really like Drew, and he knows he ended his career tonight.

However, if we stayed with Drew we would see the exact same thing we saw the first quarter and against he Eagles...he does not have a chance with this oline. He does not...period.

The reason I want Romo was because of what we all saw the first half...this oline can not protect him.

Romo is our only chance to win

I agree and after reading JJT article this morning and the subliminal messages, I think players know it too.

He'll feel better after a Sicilian Special, a Calzone and a double meat hoagie from Campisi's.

:laugh2: and maybe a new set of wonderbras. On a serious note, many fans probably are also frustrated with Parcells who seems to have done less with more and did not fully embrace the realities of the Oline.

But you know what adversity builds toughness and strength. For some reason, I think this team will start playing better from this point on, road games or not.
