Signed by Cowboys Undrafted Tracker 2025

I

DC Bond or Bust!! im rallying. I mean literally you remember that time that Michael Irvin and a bunch of knuckleheads had the White House and gotten a bunch of trouble and then when we needed a wide receiver and we went into the draft and Randy Moss had a domestic and had a little bit of weed with him when he got arrested or questioned or whatever happened I don't remember the story and then Jerry got scared and didn't get Randy Moss you remember how that went when Randy showed the league how much the Cowboys really made a big mistake this guy is a first round talent Isaiah Bon 2nd round at best he would have fell he should have went In a similar area that Matthew Golden went that's where this guy played he he started in front of Matthew Golden he had some injury issues golden got to get some more snaps than he used to but the starter on the Longhorns team was Isaiah Bond so we're going to let a first round talent not even get a tryout here because you're worried about his squeaky clean persona over an accusation that has not been proven?

I understand what you're saying I get it I understand what BS is trying to do but in this case we have a huge hole for wide receiver too we have a guy that should have probably went in the 1st round but the 2nd round at the latest and he's sitting out there and you don't even try to bring him in you can make his contract ok to the public look he ends up guilty goes to jail his contract gets torn up and he you move on..
Big difference between Moss having some weed in his pocket and Bond turning himself in to the Frisco PD on rape charges.

As soon as the word rape is mentioned, every team in the NFL took him off their boards and red flagged him as udfa ineligible.

looks like they didnt put any effort into this UDFA class, one of the weakest in recent times

I'm watching the post-draft press conference, and it's interesting that Stephen mentioned the team has signed five UDFAs already and one of those was right at the top of players remaining on their draft board. I wonder which one of these that was?
I'm going to guess Treshon Holden. Definitely has NFL traits.

I'm calling it now. He makes the team. Guy is a smooth player.

BIG BEN, MIC DROP!! How about murder I mean when you're being charged with conspiracy to cover up a murder you know that linebacker that didn't have a problem getting into the NFL or the Hall of Fame you know Lewis.. Mic drop.

Look I get it and it wasn't just the weed in his pocket he had some incident that was caught on bad camera angles with having a domestic where he had his girlfriend shoved up on the top of a hood of a car I believe it's been a long time but that's why the Cowboys passed him up there was a possible domestic issue an anger issue along with the weed but he still got drafted still had a great career and it never was a problem.

I understand the hesitation so he didn't get drafted but he's out there there's got to be a way we could fit him in put him on a program telling me he's on a short lease make his contract very clear non guaranteed type stuff because he has every bit the same ability matthew Golden has so he's got flaws I'm saying this team could use a guy like him..

Well he might be your pet cat only because he's who that's right the favorite of your wide receiver coach you for sure will have a leg up I mean who's our lower end guys on this team like Brooks and who's that training camp hero that never seems to do well is that cropper so yeah there's room on the bottom of this wide receiver room tree to make the team and give that guy the next chance... I mean to be honest I don't know who this guy is but he does seem to have the height weight and if his wide receiver coach thinks he's pretty good he has the inside knowledge maybe he could be a solid player but people are discounting Tobert who's been on a slow but steady rise said some solid seasons and he may not be wide receiver 2 material but I say he's a 2 B guy that's going to keep getting better he's not going to allow his spot to be taken easily I can tell his mannerisms the way he speaks in the media...

Tolberts not going away.. I believe he's a healthy version of Miles Austin and he's only going to keep getting better it took Austin a while to get even good if it wasn't for the hamstrings he would have had a great career...

I like him. I think he makes the team too. Especially if he's also good on special teams. That's what usually makes or breaks late round or undrafted players.

I think Holden is the kind of player who gives your offense an identity. He's the definition of a dog out there, at the receiver position. And having him can help you win games. He's freaking animated out there. You see even the fastest guys not getting the best football speed out of their steps. But he totally does. Guy is explosive.

But he literally spit in another corners face, which is one reason why he's UDFA. But man, this guy's tape is unreal.

Being an ACC watcher, those Syracuse guys have a shot on the PS.

Barron IMO is still coming into as a LB, as he was a originally a WR, then safety and then LB.
6'4, 225, probably needs a min of one year to keep growing as a LB in terms of strength.
But have to wonder if he can show some upside in PS/TC they'll hold onto him to see if he could develop for 26
4.58 40 at their pro day, 34" vert, 23 on the bench, 6.98 3 cone.
His chance to a nfl paycheck of some sort is excelling with his athletics

Did his accuser get evaluated immediately after the alleged events?

If she did i can't imagine there wouldn't be fairly clear evidence.

Maybe NFL teams know more about it than we do, and there's good reason they stayed away.

Bond may find himself in prison.

Besides that as a player his production doesn't come close to merit the circus that comes along with him.

The examples you listed had the production to justify the risk.

I guess we are signing less UDFAs due to having such a "full" roster. But with the lack of "sure things" in the RB room I would have thought they would bring in at least one or two UFFA running backs with "traits".

Exactly, and there's nothing wrong with kicking tires. Better to sign more UDFAs than less. Might be able to find something in more players.
