I hope we upgrade this season .anyone one Simms,leftwich or Culpepper will be a upgrade.

when we got him I thought it was a good idea to have some veteran QB leadership to help Romo through rough patches. But honestly with Garrett and Wade Wilson here, it just becomes redundant. I can't recall reading anything about some tight Romo-Johnson bond or how Johnson has taken Romo under his wing. Nothing at all. So it is time for Brad to go.

I understand that most teams are screwed if the starter goes down but I'd far prefer a young guy who might come in and make a few big plays to an old guy who can only throw short passes.

Simms is the only one i like on this list -- the others aren't going to be happy as backups.

I'll stick with the wily vet who has won something. Simms does nothing for me as a players.

Simms led Tampa Bay to the playoffs a couple of years ago. Hes not great but he a good backup.
