My goal is to rid the country of all over-rated football players... hey it's job security. ;)

Now he's a bus driver.

In the dictionary, there is a picture of Brad Johnson next to bus driver.

I don't mean that in a bad way, he is the ultimate in manage the game, take the safe play, make a throw when he needs to.

I know some consdier it a bad word around here, but with the right team I'd take him.Its just that kind of league now.

I don't mean it in a bad way either. I just don't want one except as a backup.

While Brad Johnson is solid and probably one of the more underrated QBs in the league... He has had his fair share of bad games aswell.

I swear some of you guys never watched football before or have a very very very selective memory.

Cripes, every QB has bad games. What's your point?

Fact is Johnson is more than servicable, and in general he takes care of the football, and won't lose games. Even comes up with the occasional winner. He is the penultimate bus driver.

On the right team, where the defense and running game is solid he can win a SB for you, because he manages the game well. That's all anyone is saying.

Get off the high horse.

I don't know about the 'bus driver' image. Earlier tonight a skin caught him by the right arm on a pass rush. Johnson switched the ball to his left hand and threw it to the crossing route...on the money. The receiver dropped it but the play was so heads up it was amazing. Our guy didn't have that kind of awareness this weekend. Maybe he should have tried it left handed.:p:

Simple fact is if Brad Johnson had been our QB yesteday, it probably would have been a win. :bang2:

It wasn't just Bledsoe but me thinks Johnson could have nailed that gimme TD to TO that would have put us up 17-0 and in the driver's seat.

Me thinks so too. ;)

Just plain and simple, Johnson knows what he has to do to win the game. He wont give you huge numbers but at the end of the day he will give you a great chance of winning the game

johnson was tough on 3rd down. but he got away with a few tonight. they all do.

and some days more than others.

sunday was the worst i've seen bledsoe play as a cowboy. but, unless he has some injury i'm unaware of, he'll prolly have a fine game next week.

It's funny because I ALWAYS look at Johnson as an underrated player. In fact, I actually felt since late last season that Minnesota should start Johnson over Culpepper after the way he led that team after taking over.

Yet, whenever his name is mentioned, it is I that underrates him -- despite my feeling that every one else does the same.

If one word could describe Johnson's career, it would be underrated.
