Bradford to Eagles for Foles

You are reading it wrong. Eagles got Bradford AND a 2nd round pick.

Eagles will trade Nick Foles and draft picks to the Rams in exchange for Sam Bradford.

Chip Kelly inherited Nick Foles, an immobile quarterback who showed some serious flaws before getting hurt last season. Now he gets an upgrade in Bradford, who has a massive contract (that's up after this season) and has been unable to stay healthy. It may not prevent Kelly from trying to go up and get Marcus Mariota in the draft, but it certainly takes some of the urgency off. Bradford projects as a clear-cut fantasy QB1 while operating Kelly's fastbreak offense.

How did I read it wrong?

The Eagles got the 10th pick with this. This is about Mariota guys. Chip will now get his guy. Rams were fleeced.

Foles could be real good in St. Louis tho. That defense wasn't bad. The offense was horrible

If there is a god, Chip will make all these deals, go ahead and trade with the Jets for #6 and then someone will take Mariotta top 5 hahaha

How is it a good deal?

Eagles got Bradford, but they gave up Foles and a 2nd round pick. What am I missing?

They got an injury prone QB, his salary, and gave up a 2nd rounder and Foles.

The 2nd goes from St Louis to Philly, not the other way around

CHIP KELLY IS THE DUMBEST HEAD COACH THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN

Although these moves are very strange, I think many coaches in the league would have loved to go 10-6 their first 2 years in the league. He's far from the dumbest head coach in the NFL.

thats the speculation on philly radio bradford #20 the second rounder to the jets for the 6th pick

I wouldn't give up the 6th overall pick for a trade involving Bradford even with the other 2 picks. Bradford isn't going to be the answer at QB with the Jets even when healthy he hasn't been that great. His most productive season was 3702 yards and he's never thrown for more than 21 TD's plus he has a career passer rating of 79.3.

Yeah I don't think Sam Bradford has any value at this point. He is injury prone and hasn't played. Someone will give him a shot but he's more of a throw-in in a trade.
