Being black myself, there is more of a perception of black people in general being less educated. But don't get me into the whole welfare state thing.



And I have actually seen people talk about how stupid football players are in general, Black, White, brown ,blue ,pink ,yellow, green, etc. A lot of the time it isn't true. For instance Bradie James was a 4.0 GPA student. Football players that graduate generally have to graduate in SOMETHING, and, while that doesn't necessarily take genius, it takes some intellectual acuity.

Oh no, now you've given folks on the board a reason to say "but a black guy said it didn't bother him so it is OK to say X, Y, and Z"

Certainly this in confounded by the athlete stereotype -- but folks really need to ask themselves why they are surprised that Bradie is smart and well-spoken -- and they need to do it honestly.

Being that there are thousands of members on this board, I have no doubt that people come from all walks of life here. Some probably have preconceived stereotypes, and that is sad, but there is no reason to throw the race card anytime someone says a football player is well spoken.

That's my take anyhow. How about him returning that INT to the house?
