Doing the LSU-ND game.

I noticed a little screw up with some players' names, but they seemed to have done their homework.

That was the first time I heard them in the booth together, and in a college game, no less.

Of course they have anchor/studio duties galore, but I wish FOX would have them do a marquee pro game or two next year.

I found them utterly disarming, and interesting doing game color.

I thought they were great. I was really impressed with Bradshaw, and being a young Cowboys fan, I harbor very little ill will towards Pittsburgh and him.

The chemistry was already there from the Fox pregame, and Fox really could get somewhere putting these guys in the booth.

Bradshaw definitely knows what he's talking about.

He may put on that country bumpkin thing...but when it comes to the X's and O's he has no problem.

I always liked Bradshaw in the booth. I don't like him in the pre-game show. A big reason I stopped watching any pre-game shows. I have just started watching the CBS pre-game show a little here and there. JB, Marino, Boomer and Sharpe aren't too bad. I wish they would switch Shannon out with Sterling. I think the elder Sharpe is just better.

What was the reasoning behind FOX putting Joe Buck in the studio and changing up their broadcast teams? I hadn't heard anything and know I probably missed any discussion about it in the forum because of the holidays.

That crossed my mind also. It's not like Baseball is still going.

Shannon talks like he's got cotton in his mouth. He's got a voice that's just not made for TV.

Not sure about Joe Buck, but I wish they'd make Curt Menefee (I think that's him --big, black guy during the half-time segments) the permanent guy in the studio. He handled JB, Jimmy, and Howie very well. Too often I felt like Joe didn't know how to transition from their joking around to the next segment or commercial.

I loved Howie and Terry in the booth. Those guys just have good synergy. I felt like I was listening to a real broadcast team.

Also what do you mean specifically by changing up their broadcast teams? You mean when Troy did a game with Dick Stockton?

I liked them a lot. They didn't over do it, which a lot of new jacks tend to do. I've always liked Howie Long though.

Howie Long kept it pretty serious, but added some real nice insight. Bradshaw, love him or hate him, is a funny dude. He had me cracking up, but he knows ALOT about the game.

I was happy to see the broadcasters did their homework on the players before the game. You just felt like when they opened their mouth to add something, it was relevant and correct. Even when they said something that would seem like common sense, it was well done(Bradshaw's poing about JaMarcus Russel and his height, which allows him to see over the blitz, comes to mind).

Yep, Joe Buck to the studio, Dick Stockton now with Aikman and whomever is now with Moose. They do it each year during the baseball playoffs while Buck calls those game just like earlier in the season. I just didn't know why did they do it the last couple weeks.
