Fumbles happen all the time, 64 yard field goals are a real improbability. The point wasn’t a field goal away from being 0-3 but a Sixty Four yard field goal.

They played for the 64 yard FG. The down before was a hand off to have the RB take the ball to the other hashmark for the kick. There was no attempt to get more yards because they knew they were in their kicker's range.

A 64 yarder is desperate for other kickers. It is not for Brandon Aubrey.

If williams doesn’t fumble that ball i think chicago wouldbhave been a cokpletely different game.

I think by draft day next year most of us will regret Aubrey nailing that 64 yarder. That win could cost a few draft spots for a team that obviously isn't making the playoffs. It could mean the difference between getting your franchise QB or another Offensive lineman in the draft

Jerry isn't going to burn a pick on a QB. He and his brain trust still thinks we can win with Prescott. Also look at what has been invested into the QB position. You think Jerry is going to burn a first round pick on a QB to sit behind Dak?
