Brady could be a hero today, but he wont be

Too bad this is such a PC world. Brady is in the perfect position to totally slam the league and Goodell, but it wont happen.

If Brady were to come out and say that ya, I like my inflation at a certain level, thats what I like, big freakin deal,, this commish is making this game about him, when this game should be about the league, the teams, the players.

So I like my footballs at a certain pressure, big freakin deal, every QB in the league does as well.
If I crossed the line, and broke a rule, than fine, I will pay the price and lets move forward

Here is my Super Bowl ring, aint it pretty, do you want to take that away from me now?

In fact lets just replay the game, and inflate the Balls to regulation, and the outcome will still be the same,,, we win the game, the Superbowl.

If Brady would have the balls big enough to come out and make that statement, today, on the world biggest stage today...

Brady would become instantly a nation, maybe global, hero...
and goodell would look like the worlds greatest fool.

But it wont happen.

Life is all about moments like this, where you can totally change or expose what is wrong or corrupt, its a shame these moments are wasted.

and the answer beforehand, is yes, I believe Brady is a cheater,,, that has nothing to do with my feelings about this current league commish and administration/direction.

He is a well respected member here and he is a Cowboys Fan. I might not agree with his take in this specific issue but there is NO need to question him about being a Cowboys Fan. So let's drop that one.

I find this truly bizarre. Brady would be a hero by admitting to being an unrepentant cheater and liar? And he'd somehow make Goodell look bad by saying, "I shouldn't have to follow your league's rules, I'm Tom Brady?" Sorry, not seeing it.

Brady should have said all this when it first came up. Instead he lied and hampered the investigation. This should have all been over in a day or two after it happened and then the fines and penalties would have been fairly minimal. Because of his own actions he allowed everything to fester and turn into a bigger ordeal than it should have. It is too late for him to come in and now say he likes lower inflation on the football and it is not a big deal. He made it a big deal and now he has to deal with it.
