something it seems is missed on his 10 AFC championship visits....the AFC sucks, like for real. Much easier to get there when your competition blows.
When people talk about the weak division for NE, they have a point. But to call the AFC a weak conference is just proudly displaying your own ignorance.
The 2 guys who are far and away the best QBs in the NFL over the past 15 years play in the AFC. There isn't any NFC competition is even remotely as talented over the past 15 years as the Manning-led Colts/Broncos. Heck, there isn't even an NFC team as successful over the past 15 years as the Roethlisberger-led Steelers.
The AFC is top heavy. 3 QBs have represented the AFC in 13 of the past 15 years (including this year) and a total of 5 different ones. Over the same period of time, the NFC has 9 teams that only went once (and 11 different QB's). Winning a top heavy conference is far, far more difficult than winning a conference of teams-du-jour. The NFC sends guys like Delhomme, McNabb, Hasselbeck, Grossman and Kaepernick.
